- Latest update
Hi guys,
I know there's still some things missing, like layouts for example.
I would have loved to keep the old version of AG Unit Frames up until I thought the new version was 100% ready, but 3.0 came out, so I had to put the new version up. The old version not compatible with 3.0.
That said, I feel that the new AG Unit Frames is much lighter than the old one, while being easier to configure, contains more modern features and so on. As soon as the glitches in the wake of 3.0 is smoothed out, I'm sure many of you are going to be pretty happy with it.
Regarding the missing layouts, the layout system was completely changed, which makes the old layouts incompatible. It is much better and dynamic now and allows for a lot more customization, It is unfortunate that I haven't had time to rewrite some of the old layouts like "classic". I really plan to.
I hope this answers some of your questions!
- Issues
There is a problem where party members won't be created correctly if they join while you're in combat. This is a bug in the Blizzard interface code and won't be fixed until they release a new patch. This affects all unit frame addons.

Can someone who knows what they're doing take up the mantle on this add-on? It's absolutely amazing, and every other unitframe add-on out there is bloated and looks like trash comparatively. I've been using this one for years and had finagled it to work with 3.3.3, I don't want to switch to something else!
the partyframe and raid frame doesnt show at all. if anyone has a solution please help out :) thanks, great addon btw, should be updated by someone epic :D
download: http://static.wowace.com/content/attachments/8/136/incomingheals_cata.zip
replace it in ag_Extras\modules\incomingheals\incoming.lua
go to embeds.xml and edit:
"<Include file="libs\LibHealComm-3.0\lib.xml" /> "
to
<Include file="libs\LibHealComm-4.0\lib.xml" />
then aguf will work again.
drag&drop isnt working atm, searching for a solution.
Party and raid will not work due to the significant overhaul as I discovered. I didn't notice it before since I only use agUF for Player/Target/ToT frames.
I've come to the inexplicable conclusion after playing with every other unit frame addon out there for over 2 hours that I'll need to dig into the code further to get things working properly myself. If I come up with anything, I'll be sure to let people know.
I have disabled IncomingHeals like suggested, and it does make the Addon work, however it still throws the following error all the time:
Message: ...s\ag_Extras\libs\LibHealComm-3.0\LibHealComm-3.0.lua:298: table index is nil
Stack: ...s\ag_Extras\libs\LibHealComm-3.0\LibHealComm-3.0.lua:298: in main chunk
Edit:
I then commented out the LibHealComm library from the embeds.xml so it wouldn't load at all, and now I get a different error:
Message: ...rface\AddOns\ag_Extras\modules\portrait\portrait.lua:92: attempt to index global 'this' (a nil value)
So I then disabled the Portrait module just like suggested with the IncomingHeal module, and no more error :) woot. Now to try and join a party and test that.
Party test failed. No party members showing at all. Even doign a reload didn't help :(

The current issue with ag_UnitFrames is because of the IncomingHeals module in ag_extras. You can fix the addon simply by disabling it.
/aguf
Click "Modules." Uncheck "IncomingHeals."
/reloadui
Not a true fix, but if you're like me and don't really pay attention to this anyway, it's a quick fix and works until we can get an update for 4.0.1
/aguf
Click "Modules." Uncheck "IncomingHeals."
/reloadui
extras.xml - remove the entry for incomingheals
embeds.xml - remove the entry for libhealcomm
However, I cannot move my bars for some odd reason. Anyone know why? I am using the latest version posted on wowace.
