Hi guys,
I know there's still some things missing, like layouts for example.
I would have loved to keep the old version of AG Unit Frames up until I thought the new version was 100% ready, but 3.0 came out, so I had to put the new version up. The old version not compatible with 3.0.
That said, I feel that the new AG Unit Frames is much lighter than the old one, while being easier to configure, contains more modern features and so on. As soon as the glitches in the wake of 3.0 is smoothed out, I'm sure many of you are going to be pretty happy with it.
Regarding the missing layouts, the layout system was completely changed, which makes the old layouts incompatible. It is much better and dynamic now and allows for a lot more customization, It is unfortunate that I haven't had time to rewrite some of the old layouts like "classic". I really plan to.
I hope this answers some of your questions!

There is a problem where party members won't be created correctly if they join while you're in combat. This is a bug in the Blizzard interface code and won't be fixed until they release a new patch. This affects all unit frame addons.

I noticed after the 3.0 patch that i was unable to right-click at certain times during the game. When i say right-click i mean when you right-click to turn your screen left / right / up / down. I tried to figure out when this mishap would occur, and i noticed that i am unable to right-click to move my screen around the area on my character's head ( he is undead )and above it ( to the character's name ). The same goes for my pet. It is only in those areas where right-click seems dead. I tried disabling all other mods and just left ag_unitframes on, and the problem still occurs. But when i disable ag_unitframe the problem is fixed. Anybody else experiencing this or is it just me?
thanks in advance
Also, there used to be a way to have debuffs only highlight frames if the debuff was something you could remove. Is there still a way to do this?
Thanks
Other things I might look into is getting rangecheck to work for non-english clients, and re-adding difficulty color to the level text.
About portraits, you have to go into modules and enable the portrait module. It is disabled by default.
I haven't had any problems with getting the target frame to show, and that is on a lot of different computers. I suggest you try resetting all options to default by deleting WTF dir, and remove all other addons.
Love the addon, but I used to have this other layout. Now, thats not much of a problem, however I want to ask if there is any way that I can remove the "background" of my HP/energy bar to be complete black? As in, when you loose HP, you still have a weak yellow-ish color as background rather then just plain dark.
I've looked around abit in some .lua's but cant seem to find it.
