Customizable unit frame addon.

How to configure the unit frames in 3.0

Press "esc" to open the options menu.

Press the "Interface" button.

In the interface options window, press the "AddOns" tab.

Select "AG Units" from the tree of available addons.

Press the "Open AG Units Options" button. This will open the AG Unit Frames options window.

(Alternatively, you can write "/aguf" in the chat.)

Hi guys,

I know there's still some things missing, like layouts for example.

I would have loved to keep the old version of AG Unit Frames up until I thought the new version was 100% ready, but 3.0 came out, so I had to put the new version up. The old version not compatible with 3.0.

That said, I feel that the new AG Unit Frames is much lighter than the old one, while being easier to configure, contains more modern features and so on. As soon as the glitches in the wake of 3.0 is smoothed out, I'm sure many of you are going to be pretty happy with it.

Regarding the missing layouts, the layout system was completely changed, which makes the old layouts incompatible. It is much better and dynamic now and allows for a lot more customization, It is unfortunate that I haven't had time to rewrite some of the old layouts like "classic". I really plan to.

I hope this answers some of your questions!

Issues

There is a problem where party members won't be created correctly if they join while you're in combat. This is a bug in the Blizzard interface code and won't be fixed until they release a new patch. This affects all unit frame addons.

Can anybody help me out here...I cannot get blizzards default buff/debuffs off my screen, nor can i take off a buff when i click it on ag's buff icons. Any tips are appreciated.

Everytime I try to set a focus target by right clicking on the party member's frame and selecting Set Focus I get "ag_unitframes has been blocked from an action only available to the Blizzard UI"

is there a way to display buffs and debuffs colours depending on their type? magic, curse etc..
i remember old ag could do it

ok, something really is wrong with this addon, everytime i try to have it enabled i get a memory error from wow the exact second that the loading screen is finished, if i disable ag_uf then it works perfectly, i have no idea why it does this but reinstalling it doesnt help, the only thing that helps is resetting the WTF files (deleting them)

i have pinpointed the error coming from the addon "ag_extras" so something in there has to be messy for this memory error to occur.

more than the wow error frame popping up i get this:
"This application has encountered a critical error:

Not enough storage is avalible to process this command.
program: E:\WoW\WoW.exe
file: .src\mempool.ccp
line: 311

press ok to terminate the application."

my comp has 2gb RAM with 1.3gb free so that couldnt be the issue, my harddrive has only 798MB free space left but that havent stopped me before.

before the patch the error just came randomly but after 3.0.3 was applied it gives me error everytime i have ag_extras enabled

is there anyone else out there who can't seem to right click to move the screen around near the area above the character's head? it seems to be a dead zone.

I'm unable to see the Focus Target Bar. Yes, I've enabled it. It only appears when I turn on the party/raid option at the bottom in general settings.

Please, add an option so we could save several sets for raid frames ( 10 ppl, 25 ppl, 40 ppl raid) and choose different scale, size etc for each set. Something similar addon sRaidsframes has.

Everytime I log off, AGU forgets that I have turned off "STATUS ICONS". Has anyone else seen this behavior?

I'm not sure if there is a way to do this already. However, is there a way to get frames for the in Game Tank boxes or to communicate with CT_raid and see tanks and tank targets? Without using those UI's of course.

Hi andreas,

I have bug with my ag_unitframes, when i _cast_ a heal i get a "red blank bar" inside any health bar. Player, target, target of target, focus etc.

It started first time after my aguf update on weekend.

My other addons are:
bartender4
omnicc
fubar
omen
sct

I believe this is caused by the "incoming heal" module. If your heal will land for more health than you have it will go red for OVERHEAL.

It's not a very nice module and can be confusing. For me the incoming heal is green and it looks like my health is bouncing up and down when i cast..

I can't get rid of my buffs by clicking on them nor can I make blizzards default buffs disapear. Anyway I can fix this?

yep. i see the same problem. the cooldown dial flickers all the time. but only on the target of target frame.

r666: Anyone else noticing a problem with Target-of-Target aura cooldowns? They seem to "flicker" for lack of a better term. It's a constant, quick flash or pulse on all auras that have a duration, and only seems to affect my ToT frame. No LUA errors or anything, and of course the problem goes away if I disable aura cooldowns on that frame.

I have a problem with buff icons appearing both above and below the frames, as well as in the default blizzard positions. Why isn't AG hiding the default buff icons and why can't I have them only below my frames?
