- Latest update
Hi guys,
I know there's still some things missing, like layouts for example.
I would have loved to keep the old version of AG Unit Frames up until I thought the new version was 100% ready, but 3.0 came out, so I had to put the new version up. The old version not compatible with 3.0.
That said, I feel that the new AG Unit Frames is much lighter than the old one, while being easier to configure, contains more modern features and so on. As soon as the glitches in the wake of 3.0 is smoothed out, I'm sure many of you are going to be pretty happy with it.
Regarding the missing layouts, the layout system was completely changed, which makes the old layouts incompatible. It is much better and dynamic now and allows for a lot more customization, It is unfortunate that I haven't had time to rewrite some of the old layouts like "classic". I really plan to.
I hope this answers some of your questions!
- Issues
There is a problem where party members won't be created correctly if they join while you're in combat. This is a bug in the Blizzard interface code and won't be fixed until they release a new patch. This affects all unit frame addons.
See http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=11829374079&postId=118282996524&sid=1#0
but can you add there a option to show only your own buffs&debuffs on target i miss it :) thx
- Death Knight runes don't always show correctly. It seems the addon sometimes has trouble handling Death Runes, which will show as normal runes instead. This is quite an issue for any Death Knight spec which involves Death Runes. Sometimes, though this happens rarely, a rune will show as fresh when it is in fact on cooldown.
- This is much less of an issue, but sometimes, and often after loading arenas, the health bar does not show the correct amount of health. This is corrected instantly when the character has a max HP change (Priest/Druid buffs, Blessing of Kings, Frost Presence, Bear Form, ...).
One thing thou: I would like to have the option to not have health bars change color with health changes.
I'd like to use the aggro feature on the raid and party frames. At the moment I only see the option to color the healthbar red which is confusing as the healthbar already changes color make the amount of lost health a little more alarming. Only the player frame has the red aggro border yet, right?
And are incoming heals supposed to be shown on the raid frames?
aUFFontString116, aUFFontString119, aUFFontString122 SetText(): Font not set"
50% 42k
Instead of :
50% 21k/42k
I don't think it's possible as of yet.
I'd like to be able to see the full health value rather than abbreviated one.
Thanks!
Thanks for any hint.
When ever i custom my profile, i cannot use it on any other characters cause it wont load. I also cant change the profile cause it just wont work.
Anyone familair with this?:O
Thx
- how do you get the preference menu as in the illustrate above (AgMenu), I tried to right clik, doesnt seem to work
- how do you switch to actual number (for example mana at 8000/8000) istead of the absolute 8.0k number.
Again, thank you for the simple, yet effective addon. Loving it.
Cheers
1 - Being able to change the font size for different bars in a single frame instead of a global font size.
2 - Being able to choose the color the health bar changes to when low in health.
I'm pretty sure the second one would be possible to edit manually but I can't find the exact location in the LUA files. Anybody knows?
Thanks a lot for this addon, andreasg and Nevcairiel.
