Customizable unit frame addon.

How to configure the unit frames in 3.0

Press "esc" to open the options menu.

Press the "Interface" button.

In the interface options window, press the "AddOns" tab.

Select "AG Units" from the tree of available addons.

Press the "Open AG Units Options" button. This will open the AG Unit Frames options window.

(Alternatively, you can write "/aguf" in the chat.)

Hi guys,

I know there's still some things missing, like layouts for example.

I would have loved to keep the old version of AG Unit Frames up until I thought the new version was 100% ready, but 3.0 came out, so I had to put the new version up. The old version not compatible with 3.0.

That said, I feel that the new AG Unit Frames is much lighter than the old one, while being easier to configure, contains more modern features and so on. As soon as the glitches in the wake of 3.0 is smoothed out, I'm sure many of you are going to be pretty happy with it.

Regarding the missing layouts, the layout system was completely changed, which makes the old layouts incompatible. It is much better and dynamic now and allows for a lot more customization, It is unfortunate that I haven't had time to rewrite some of the old layouts like "classic". I really plan to.

I hope this answers some of your questions!

Issues

There is a problem where party members won't be created correctly if they join while you're in combat. This is a bug in the Blizzard interface code and won't be fixed until they release a new patch. This affects all unit frame addons.

I finally worked out why my PvP window was bugged, and it's ag UF's :(

I get this error;
"ag_Options addon ain't available"

Make sure in your AddOns/ folder you have ag_Options, ag_Extras, ag_UnitFrames if you don't then you need to redownload/unzip.

In the ag_UnitFrames.lua file, in the aUI:OnInitialize() function, there is a line that says PVPFrame:SetFrameLevel(10). Commenting it out (in other words adding two dashes in front of it, "--PVPFrame:SetFrameLevel(10)") fixes the problem. The comment above says it "makes PVPFrame overlap unitframes," but I haven't seen a problem. If you were to encounter one I'm sure you could guess an appropriate number.

Im haaving 1 problem with ag.

When i press the bound key to get the tab for Player Vs Player i get the tab correctly up, But when i want to press the tab for Battlegrounds (to enter a battleground) i cannot press the tab, nothing in the Player Vs Player tab is pressable, it works fine if i dissable Ag, any 1 knows how i can get this to work ?

Allright, so i just updated this to the most recent and now, for some strange reason, on my SHAMAN i now have what seems to be a DK's Runes bar below my XP/Rep bar. I've yet to see of any place that I can turn it off, and others having this issue?

Can you provide a screenshot? You shouldn't be bale to see the rune bar at all if you're not on a DK.

Ah actually, I do believe that is the new totem bar that andreasg changed to, Red = Fire, Green = Earth, Blue = Water, Purple = Air to indicate time left on the totem I think.

I've got the same problem, 4 deathknight rune bars under my health and mana. Not a big issue, i didn't even notice till I read the above post, but its there.

Can we please get an updated compact layout, that is the only thing keeping me from being able to update this addon, in fact I'm still using a version that went out of date before the 2.4 patch (somehow it is still mostly working fine). I can't update until the compact layout (with castbar) is available.

and 1 more issue is with the "que anywhere for bg" windows. if u press 'H' the window popup but u cannot click on the battleground tab (at the bottom) and u cant even click 'X' - close.

OK so the new patch is out an my friends talked me into trying the AG unit frames. I like them, i'm probably going to use em ova x'perl but i have an issue. I cant hide the buffs where blizzard has em as default. I like them under my picture not over by my minimap... help?

I'm getting spammed with aura errors and none of the party or target buffs/debuffs are displaying properly.
Really love this mod and really don't want to replace it without. =(

Nevermind, deleting the old folders from my interface file before copying in the new version seemed to have fixed all my errors.

Anyone else have a problem displaying the party and raid frames in "Setup Mode"? I'm creating a new layout, ag_uf is the only addon running but whenever I select either Party or Raid from the Setup Mode the Player, Party etc frames show their aura markers (so it's definitely going into Setup Mode but the Party and Raid frames just won't display. I've deleted the variable files and double checked that Raid and Party frames are enabled but sill nothing.

I'm trying out aguf for the first time (r695) and liking what I see, but a bad problem I'm having "out of the box" is that I cannot move the frame location at all. I saw where a previous commenter stated that you us Alt-click and drag but that does not work. (Note that I'm trying aguf for the first time right after getting the WOW 3.1 patch.) I've tried other combinations too, like Ctrl-click, Shift-click and combinations of Alt-Ctrl, Alt-Shift, and Ctrl-Shift, but nothing is happening to let me move the frame location. Can someone help me out about this?
