Profession AddOns
Due to the increasing data size and memory usage with each WoW expansion, the professions have been split into their own AddOns; you need only download the ones you'll be using. Each installed and enabled profession AddOn will load whenever it's first accessed by the ARL core.
The individual profession AddOns can be found here:
- Alchemy
- Blacksmithing
- Cooking
- Enchanting
- Engineering
- Inscription
- Jewelcrafting
- Leatherworking
- Mining
- Tailoring
Note that Ackis Recipe List will not work without the AddOn for the profession you are trying to scan. If you attempt to scan a profession that is not installed, you will be informed.
Where to get it

Known Issues
- When gaining a reputation level recipes for that faction will still appear in red when doing a scan.
- Recipe acquire information is slightly inaccurate. We are updating recipes daily as information is identified. If you find something inaccurate or wrong, submit a ticket here and we will get it updated.
Feature Requests/Bug Reporting
Read the Bug Reporting and Feature Requesting information before submitted a bug report or feature request. Posting reports in the comments is not the place to do so. Ackis had to turn off the comments at Curse.com because of constant bug reports and feature requests. Comments are for questions on how to use the mod, or you can see the thread on WoW Ace. Please follow these small little instructions to make our lives easier. The easier you make development for Ackis Recipe List, the more time we will have to develop other addons.
Bug Reports
Please use the WoW Ace tracker to file bug reports. Posting bugs in the comments is not the place to do it.
Feature Request
Please use the WoW Ace tracker to add suggestions and feature requests. Not all suggestions will be accepted: there are many people who use this addon, each with separate views. We will, however, try to make it as user friendly as possible...but when a decision is made please accept it.
Integration
Ackis Recipe List strives to integrate with existing trade skill mods out there. If you have a request for integration, please submit a feature request at WoW Ace. We make no promises to implement the feature at all. There is a limited API documented to interface with the ARL database. If you are a developer and would like more functions, please contact us on IRC. Currently, the mod works with:

I found problem. There was conflict with Skillet and TSM addons. I turned off them and ARL start working.
As of 7/24/16 options menu is blank, cannot reconfigure tooltips to appear at bottom of addon anymore. Can you please return this function? TIA
Updated to latest, and getting new error. Not sure which of the three is causing it.

Ackis Recipe List, beginning with the letter A, loads before the others; this means it's the first to have Ace3. Since libraries are shared, ARL is the one attached.
In other words, these aren't the droids you are looking for.
Doh! Forgot about that. :)
Latest update is causing fps spikes. When you open the list of recipes that you char has missing.
Using latest version of ARL addons.

Did you update to the new Inscription module? There were internal changes both in the core and all modules that requires it.
Sorry, Curse must have played a trick on me last night.
I can see now, that half of the specific ARL professions addons I downloaded are still the 6.* version instead of the 7.* version.
Does this addon have relevance now that the pre-Legion patch issued today seems to include a missing-recipes tab in the crafting frame already? Will the addon be retooled to add more information to that new tab rather than trying to supplement with a separate frame?
It's only relevant if you find the information Blizzard provides extremely lacking, if you want waypoint support, and fine-grained filters for recipes.
As for integration, that's something I'd have to think long and hard about; how and where would ARL's functionality (all of it) fit into Blizzard's existing frame, for example.
Of course this addon - at least preceeding Legion - has provided details not readily available in the base game, and that is likely to still be true even with this new addition. However, the distraction and duplication of at least the basic portion of that information in two separate frames seems inefficient. I am not expert enough yet to craft my own addon and unfamiliar with what would be required, but I suggested the integration for the sake of clarity and efficiency if it's practical to achieve.
When a recipe is in a guild bank, the tooltip (learnable, already known by ----) doesn't show up. Other mods have figured out how to work around blizzards breaking of recipe tooltips, it would be great if you could add that fix to yours.
Hi, for some reason this addon causes my Archy addon interface to disappear. Strange? When I disable ARL, Archy works again normally... but as soon as I enable ARL, the Archy disappears.
Great Add-on but I do have a problem for a long time:
Every time I open a window like e.g. cooking, I am asked to run a scan. That is annoying. I can not find a way to stop that. Can anybody please help me?
What do you meant by "I am asked to run a scan,"? Could you paste the text here, or provide a screenshot?
I will do so later (exact text and/or screenshot) thanks. I get a request to run a new scan like there where changes in the database. Happens to all chars and every day. The request text is like: "Einige Gegenstände konnten nicht verarbeitet werden........"
If I run the scan it will be quiet for this day but starts again the next day for all chars and every time I open a working window. Also for everything like cooking, leather work and so on.
If possible, please fix it so I can't see the recipes of a specialisation I can't learn because it's pretty annoying going over the list, only to find out I can't learn a specific recipe because it's from the other specialisation.
Example: Engineering: Gnomish & Goblins.
My "completionists-list keeps showing a bunch of recipes at like 10 vendors all over Azeroth (mostly the same recipes).
Little extra: the Lifestealing enchant is no longer availaible in the game (as a drop) only possibility to get it is on the Auction House. Will report when I found more recipes on the lists which are like that.
Uncheck specialisations should do that... if not then it'll be something that is/isn't coded correctly.
Just a quick FYI that the manual download is borked again, clicking on the "Download Now" button gives version 6.2.2.1 instead of the latest version 6.2.3.1, I also notice that the details section above shows "Newest File: 6.2.2.1" which is the clue that the site hasn't updated correctly for the latest file.
