Profession AddOns
Due to the increasing data size and memory usage with each WoW expansion, the professions have been split into their own AddOns; you need only download the ones you'll be using. Each installed and enabled profession AddOn will load whenever it's first accessed by the ARL core.
The individual profession AddOns can be found here:
- Alchemy
- Blacksmithing
- Cooking
- Enchanting
- Engineering
- Inscription
- Jewelcrafting
- Leatherworking
- Mining
- Tailoring
Note that Ackis Recipe List will not work without the AddOn for the profession you are trying to scan. If you attempt to scan a profession that is not installed, you will be informed.
Where to get it
- WoW Ace - Alpha Quality
- Curse - Stable release
- WoWInterface - Stable release - Quite out of date

Known Issues
- When gaining a reputation level recipes for that faction will still appear in red when doing a scan.
- Recipe acquire information is slightly inaccurate. We are updating recipes daily as information is identified. If you find something inaccurate or wrong, submit a ticket here and we will get it updated.
Feature Requests/Bug Reporting
Read the Bug Reporting and Feature Requesting information before submitted a bug report or feature request. Posting reports in the comments is not the place to do so. Ackis had to turn off the comments at Curse.com because of constant bug reports and feature requests. Comments are for questions on how to use the mod, or you can see the thread on WoW Ace. Please follow these small little instructions to make our lives easier. The easier you make development for Ackis Recipe List, the more time we will have to develop other addons.
Bug Reports
Please use the WoW Ace tracker to file bug reports. Posting bugs in the comments is not the place to do it.
Feature Request
Please use the WoW Ace tracker to add suggestions and feature requests. Not all suggestions will be accepted: there are many people who use this addon, each with separate views. We will, however, try to make it as user friendly as possible...but when a decision is made please accept it.
Integration
Ackis Recipe List strives to integrate with existing trade skill mods out there. If you have a request for integration, please submit a feature request at WoW Ace. We make no promises to implement the feature at all. There is a limited API documented to interface with the ARL database. If you are a developer and would like more functions, please contact us on IRC. Currently, the mod works with:

would be great to have an option to open or close all location for all recipes i mean im tired of opening them one by one to search for one wich is bop or boe to go farm them
about french recipe names:
what I said on March 1, 2008, 09:01AM (4 weeks ago) is still applicable. many names update are not recognized...
I hope you can fix that ;)
Ok, 0.68 had messed up with engineering, that's fixed. Also there were reports of random disconnects due to item querying. That's also been fixed.
Also just a FYI, the blizzard options menu is not fully implemented, it will not change anything for you. It just displays current information, you still need to use the command line to change filtering options.
Actually I just put up the new version.
It has all the new 2.4 recipes, and uses a new method of getting them.
In addition, it has a lot of vendor information in it (except BS, JC, enchanting and cooking). I'll get those added soon enough.
You may see recipes listed as "Item ID: xxxxx" or "Spell ID: xxxxx". Do another scan, and if they still show up it means that the item hasn't been seen on your server. I'm going this way to optimize the performance of the mod.
I'll post a new version in a day or so, just want to make sure the bugs are worked out 100% with todays update.
It'll be 0.68 also... I've added a LOT of vendor info to it.
I'll update the Big Bronze Knife :)
So the new Ackis Recipe List 0.65 will come tomorrow? :)
dont know if reported before but the correct lvl for BS: Big Bronze Knife is 105, not 100
I haven't tried the mod w/ manufac. It does work with skillet and ATSW however.
I'm having an issue where it is printing all the recipes avail. Does this only work with the default tradeskill windows? I am using manufac. It has a mod that does this called snoop but I cant get that to work either so trying other things ;)
i know that those Two recipes are pvp reward but its not a normal vendor
if you could (if oyu have time) to make something like "Pvp vendor"
The thread on ace forums now:
http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php?topic=11798.0
0.65 will be up later tonight.
@Nyxtyr: Been adding a lot of information to the mod (hardcoding). During the day there may be typo bugs, etc which I fix when I get home. Sorry about that, but it's probably the only way I will be able to add a lot of information to the mod quickly. I'll be creating a new thread soon (today I hope), and I've just updated the wiki.
@Cypsyan: They're in the database, however they are not reputation rewards, they're pvp rewards. Make sure the PVP filter flag is toggle to on.
mystic dawnstone and Steady Talasite recipes are sold by kurenai if it could be added for next update plz :p thx
forum thread is locked on wowace so posting this here with the last few updates the addons been broke i just the another one a few minutes ago and now the enchanting is working but the tailoring is still broke here is the error:

The version on WoWAce has some of the new features I'm talking about :P
I'll update surefooted here soon, if you could get me the name of the enchant from LBRS/UBRS that'd be sweet.
I wasn't sure Boar's Speed/Cat's Swiftness were being moved. I know about the 2 new enchant formulas however. :)
i dont wanna wait. make it NOW!! :p
There are some mistakes in names of mobs that drop certain formulas and also in what mobs drop what formulas.
Surefooted drops from Phantom Stagehands, not Enchanted Stagehands.
I may be mistaken, but there was a mix-up on who drops what in either UBRS or LBRS. I think it was LBRS that had the wrong mob listed as the one who drops the enchant from there. I'm not 100% positive though. I cannot check at the moment, due to server down, but I don't want to forget. It's worth double checking though.
Also, I'm sure you're aware of Boar's Speed, Cat's Swiftness, and possibly others, being moved to the new 5 man and becoming BoP in 2.4 as well as the new faction formulas. There are also 2 more enchant formulas (12 def to cloak and Deathfrost to weapon), but as of right now, I do know know where they come from, just that they exist.
I'm not going to worry about the frFR tranlations much anymore until 2.4 comes out. Nor any other translations. There will be a change with 2.4 that should make them all work 100%, and remove the need for Babble-Tradeskill completely. :) I'd rather focus on that opposed to worrying about updating BTS. That's not saying you can't submit the changes yourself if you wish to. I hope you all can live with the flaws until 2.4 comes out.
Regarding the horde/alliance only, there's filtering options for it, which can set them to either display or hide them.
great news !
about the horde/alliance only, some recipes are "marked" with (H) or (A), and some others don't, whereas (I think) they _should_ be marked... that's what I wanted to say ;)
