Profession AddOns
Due to the increasing data size and memory usage with each WoW expansion, the professions have been split into their own AddOns; you need only download the ones you'll be using. Each installed and enabled profession AddOn will load whenever it's first accessed by the ARL core.
The individual profession AddOns can be found here:
- Alchemy
- Blacksmithing
- Cooking
- Enchanting
- Engineering
- Inscription
- Jewelcrafting
- Leatherworking
- Mining
- Tailoring
Note that Ackis Recipe List will not work without the AddOn for the profession you are trying to scan. If you attempt to scan a profession that is not installed, you will be informed.
Where to get it

Known Issues
- When gaining a reputation level recipes for that faction will still appear in red when doing a scan.
- Recipe acquire information is slightly inaccurate. We are updating recipes daily as information is identified. If you find something inaccurate or wrong, submit a ticket here and we will get it updated.
Feature Requests/Bug Reporting
Read the Bug Reporting and Feature Requesting information before submitted a bug report or feature request. Posting reports in the comments is not the place to do so. Ackis had to turn off the comments at Curse.com because of constant bug reports and feature requests. Comments are for questions on how to use the mod, or you can see the thread on WoW Ace. Please follow these small little instructions to make our lives easier. The easier you make development for Ackis Recipe List, the more time we will have to develop other addons.
Bug Reports
Please use the WoW Ace tracker to file bug reports. Posting bugs in the comments is not the place to do it.
Feature Request
Please use the WoW Ace tracker to add suggestions and feature requests. Not all suggestions will be accepted: there are many people who use this addon, each with separate views. We will, however, try to make it as user friendly as possible...but when a decision is made please accept it.
Integration
Ackis Recipe List strives to integrate with existing trade skill mods out there. If you have a request for integration, please submit a feature request at WoW Ace. We make no promises to implement the feature at all. There is a limited API documented to interface with the ARL database. If you are a developer and would like more functions, please contact us on IRC. Currently, the mod works with:

Sorry about that.. I goofed on dry-coding at work.
The immediate update from an hour later (and all following updates) include the fix.
Sorry again!
Am getting an error that in Engineering.lua it is missing a ]. Anyone else having thsi problem (did fresh isntall with CClient same thing).
ALT+Click to add a recepie to ignore list currently only works on the source of the recipie, not the recipie itself. this means you have to expand every recipie to ignore it.
All 5 were set to horde faction required.
Removed that, and it now appears for Alliance as they should - they can be purchased from neutral AH if someone chooses to put them up.
Apologies for the delay in my reply, I do keep ARL up-to-date and always download a new version within a day or 2 of such versions becoming available. When I reported the incorrect information regarding Jewelcrafting recipes that was what I was seeing in the version of ARL that was current at that time! My apologies for failing to include the version number of ARL that I was using and for not reporting this issue via a ticket. In future I shall report any errors I find via a ticket and will be sure to include version numbers.
I'm currently using ARL v2.4.8 and I still see multiple trainers listed for all the Jewelcrafting recipes that require Serpent's Eye such as Roguestone Shadowband, Lionsfall Ring, Lord's Signet etc. As I stated previously these can ONLY be learnt via Mai the Jade Shaper (Jewelcrafting trainer) in Jade Forest. No other JC trainer can teach those recipes! I have now created a new ticket and included a screenshot that clearly shows ARL is showing incorrect information!
I'd recommend updating your copy of ARL. I think that was what I put in at the start of 5.0, but came out very soon after. There've been several versions since then.
I've noticed that ARL lists the skill level 550 and 575 Jewelcrafting recipes (specifically any recipe that requires Serpent's Eye) as available via any Jewelcrafting trainer but they can only be learnt from Mai the Jade Shaper (Jewelcrafting trainer) in Jade Forest.
Recently did a realm transfer, which btw meant I reset all my saved variables for addons, but now I cannot remove a recipe from the list with Alt Click to remove it as a recipe I cannot obtain/learn. Affected profession is Leatherwork, I moved from EU Kul Tiras to EU Silversong after doing a guild master service too. Both are alliance faction and the recipe is the 40 kodo hide bag. Previous of the transfer I did have the recipe hidden. I am using version 2.4.7.
It was "Orcish War Leggings"
I had a look at the ticket page but couldn't see old tickets. I was wondering which recipie the patch note referred to:
- Fixing ticket 1542 - Removed recipe, but was horde-only. Possible to faction change and have it on Alliance now, remove setRequiredfaction.
Thanks for your time and making a great mod. :-)
Same problem here. My WoW is in portuguese language too.
Apparently this isn't working for me. I click the scan button and nothing happens. My WoW is on portuguese language, is this the cause? Is there something I can do?
Have you checked behind the profession panel? 9 out of 10 times it'll be there. If not, you may be experiencing an error which should pop up with buggrabber & bugsack.
If you get an error, create a ticket here: http://www.wowace.com/addons/arl/tickets/ and we'll get it fixed. :)

That's actually an issue with Archy.. ARL doesn't make use of "LibBabble-DigSites-3.0".
It looks like you need to update Achy, to the latest alpha.
LeatherWorking:
Pattern: Magnificence of Scales
Pattern: Magnificence of Leather
These are "World Drops" only.
ARL claims they are recieved from the NPC Clean Pelt, not true.
This issue was fixed in the March 10th alpha version - they were trainable on PTR as well as world drop, but the trainable part didn't make it out of PTR.
Questing in Desolace it seems the Vendor-Tron 1000 has been removed from the game but the recipes still show as being available from it in ARL.
Also i cant find any other source for Recipe: Lean Venison so i think this needs to be flagged as retired.
Thanks for the report. It's been fixed in today's alpha.
