AtlasLoot Enhanced
History
AtlasLoot was originally created by Pernicius as a plugin for Atlas and contained a handful of raid loot tables to browse. Unfortunately, Pernicius was unable to maintain the mod, so Daviesh took over and renamed it to AtlasLoot Enhanced to provide a distinction between the two versions. Since that time, AtlasLoot has grown to cover every loot table for every boss, every item set, PvP Items and items for every reputation faction. In January 2010 Hegarol took over the project from Daviesh. Finally, in 2014/2015 Lag completely rewrote the entire addon for AtlasLoot v8.
What is Atlasloot

Liking the new layout - but can we have the old colour scheme back please? The new one is horrible :(
Looking forward to future updates though! I've missed this.
The color scheme as mentioned is of course "vomit enducing" lol... however i do like the new loot layout and specialization button for loot highlight. I think your on a good path with it and look forward to all the "necessity" coding to being finished like options, titan panel support, and all the old information tables and panels such like mounts, tier sets, holiday crap, crafting, and all the other junk that has made this addon a "needed" part of my addon collection. thanks for all the hard work.
It's a free addon that isn't necessary to play the game.
You aren't paying for it so why complain that it isn't up to your arbitrary standards? Just let them work on it. It is a hobby for them, don't make it a job for them.
Try not to push them away or someday they might get sick of ungrateful people and stop supporting the addon.
Would it be at all possible to get a working version of the current AL? The beta is not really a beta at all, but an alpha.
I understand that add on management is a mostly volunteer job and I'm not trying to hate on you guys. I love AL. But a Beta version of something is usually a mostly-functional product, used for finding things that need tweaks and fixes. The new AL is an Alpha....it isn't even fully functional or realized yet.
As we do not have any resources for that and the code of the old AL7 release is over the years totally screwed up, there is no plan besides adding stuff to AL8 step by step, sorry. ^^
I wasn't pushing them away at all, nor am I unaware that modding isn't a paying job. I even stated as much. My only complaint was that the update was flagged as a BETA when it is most certainly an ALPHA build, with no options whatsoever. It should not be moved to BETA until all (or most) core features/options are implemented, so that people can actually see how/if it functions and what needs work.
Are you going to be adding factions/mounts/etc anytime soon? That was one of the best parts of the last version.
This will be included in the future, yes. But currently we are still focusing on adding features and have the basic functions working. :)
The new color scheme is vomit-inducing. Seriously. It looks like something from Windows 95.
Also needs to be Data Broker support, even if there are no proper 'options' yet.
Where is the LDB module?
forgot it added for next beta
Whew! Was worried there for a second.
Also there does not seem to be any options and I really hope we will be able to change the color scheme. The colors are not my flavor but aside from that and no options, so far it looks a lot cleaner!
Options are not that important while the core things are in beta and needed some tests ;) but they are planned and coding is already started
I am going to test top to bottom now and will compile a list of what I find. I feel options are important aspect of testing whether or not we can configure and save settings as the visual is as important to the end user as the functionality behind the scenes. Either way, I'll report any bugs I see.
Guess I'll wait until WoD is out. I don't like using the "load out of date" option. Thanks though. Good luck.
The new v8 version doesn't plug into the currently available version of Atlas, and MY GOD, what have you done to the colours?
Atlas is currently not supported. The focus is on functionality of AtlasLoot itself in the beta
I kind of like the new ui, but the bright yellow heading bars are bleh.
v8 beta release is tagged and should available on curse soon
Please read info in the Addon description on curse before use.
A friend of mine got it working by doing a little thing. Follow this easy steps.
Open Atlasloot. In the search column write "Shard". Then Equip the "Shard of azzinoth".
And Voila you have all expansions.
