AtlasLoot Enhanced
History
AtlasLoot was originally created by Pernicius as a plugin for Atlas and contained a handful of raid loot tables to browse. Unfortunately, Pernicius was unable to maintain the mod, so Daviesh took over and renamed it to AtlasLoot Enhanced to provide a distinction between the two versions. Since that time, AtlasLoot has grown to cover every loot table for every boss, every item set, PvP Items and items for every reputation faction. In January 2010 Hegarol took over the project from Daviesh. Finally, in 2014/2015 Lag completely rewrote the entire addon for AtlasLoot v8.
What is Atlasloot

Ein Teil der Uebersetzung passt nicht ganz. Schicke dir eine PM.

Nice work, I just got home to have a look. If I can get you to take care of rearraging the German loot that would be awesome, as it is now hard for me to understand!
In addition can you please remove any extra whitespace you have added (for example, "=ds=Description " should be just "=ds=Description". The reason is that the extra space pushes the '(no iteminfo)' warning off the edge of the item decription, cause in people not using safe item links option to be disconnected.
Thanks man, I will make that official tonight. DOn't worry too much about boss order, I am doing it tonight anyway (no more uni assignments ftw!!!).
I will endeavor to make the random drops happen too, but its going to take a bit of work.
here is the next update! http://rapidshare.de/files/21393965/AtlasLoot_mein_.rar.html
done: SCHOLO COMPLETE!!! german translation (not complete but nearly) fixed a lot short discriptions in the hohle code
sunday i will complete the german translation and take a deep look into all instances and their order/discription
mfg asurn
pls add the MCRANDOMBOSSDROPPS as an new mc point (code is there)
and then there will be an new update for atlasloot soon ....
hmm...but the german-local for atlas 7 hadn't been finished and there'll be a new update soon...
Finally fixed for the German Client. Sorry it took so long, I had to find the one line of difference in the Atlas 1.6.2 German translation and the 1.7 German Translation.
I doubt you can, it will only confuse things because your local cache will not match the server cache.
The result of this is that things that look 'safe' to link because they are in your local cache may in fact disconnect you because they are not in the server copy of the cache.
If you want to see the tooltips of most items, grab Lootlink Enhanced and the Lootlink Database Adder which will populate lootlink for you with about 42,000 items.
is there anyway that i can see all the items and link all the items or do i have to see them first? some1 who has all the items and can upload his itemcache, itemnamecache and itemtextcache
i have had some problems with itemsync and my itemcache had to be destroyed
You would still have to edit EVERYTHING. For example, the descriptions would have to change to "=ds=ATLASLOOT_CHEST, ATLASLOOT_MAIL" and have localised versions of all the different words as global variables.
The other option is to cut and paste into a DECENT text editor and do 'find and replace' but that could read funny, as word order varies from language to language.
There is no easy way.
is their no way to make an translation like the programm check the code and change some words? their is only a need to change this discrition and the option panel. i though i had seen a translation like this :P
if it could be down like this i wouldn't be so much work it would look like this:
chest == Brust Bow == Bogen Sword == Schwert Feets == FüÃ
As it was ZG was bottom heavy.
There are big clumps of items at the bottom of rows and a lot of space between loot.
Man, the translation is going to take FOREVER as you have to make versions of everything in the english file.
sry here is an new link :(
i fixed some zg bugs/wrong tooltips and changed the order of the most dropps a bit stockade is fixed in 1.7.1 but dmn is still brocken :P
@razark why is zg wonky? pls check my new changes and be more specific about whats wrong is :P
i will complete scholo this we and then check the order of all instances and change some specific information (this Shoulders, Cloth ; Wrist, PLate etc) to get the same look in all instances and make this information available to translate in german/french
http://rapidshare.de/files/21342353/AtlasLoot_mein_.rar.html
Thanks for that man, I will be bug fixing tomorrow.
Hmm, I wonder which version I screwed up the options title!
Some of the instance data was done by different authors (most notably Asurn, he is awesome), so the layout is consistant within the instance, but not with the entire mod. TBH I am more interested in getting all the data in there (Scholo is missing) than checking layout.
As for drop rates, it is in the tooltip at the moment because I run out of space anywhere else, I am planning to have a look at a better layout.
A symbol next to bosses with loot is a good idea, but I have a couple of others. I started thinking about it when I saw the Naxx map, it looks awesome.
Also, the layout of items for bosses in ZG is pretty wonky. I haven't really had a chance to look over all the other zones either. ~Dan
Also #2, "AtlasLoot Options" is appearing above it's title bar instead of within it. Just a layout nitpick since I'm more or less a perfectionist ;)
So, having finally tried out AtlasLoot, I must say you (and the original author) have done a brilliant job! It integrates beautifully, runs well, and is simple. I have a few suggestions/ideas for future releases:
1) Make the version number blue like the rest of the title (too many colors!) and change the description text from yellow to grey. 2) Wrap the text in the title bar after "to" instead of "toggle" 3) Move the whole tag down 3 or 4 pixels so it's centered vertically 4) Instead of changing the color of a click-able name, use a small image/marker/bullet to the left of the listing. Some maps have color-coded names (Naxxramas and Alterac, for example) and the color highlighting is going to be a nightmare. If you like this idea, I'd be happy to design a small marker image. 5) A bug: If a boss isn't on the same line as a number, then their name gets mangled. For exampe, in BRD: "Lord Incendius" shows up as "Lord" and "Pyromancer Loregraine (Rare)" shows up as "Loregraine (Rare)" 6) Instead of showing drop rate in the tool tip, show it on the main listing of items, either as a subtext or a right-aligned list of values.
Let me know what you think. Once again, awesome job.
Cheers, Dan
Yeah, unfortunately I don't do the translations myself, so the translators pretty much have free reign over how things are formatted/ordered in each language. I could try to organize an effort to standardize the orders if it'd make a big difference to this project. I'm still toying with the idea of trying to wrap this into the main Atlas release, although I'm also not sure if it's a good idea. Modularity has benefits!
I can't download that latest file to take a look.
Those of you who were after Metamap support, I have ported the basic funtionality of AtlasLoot over and given it to Metamap's author for inclusion. As I do not use Metamap, I will not be maintaining that mod other than to provide up-to-date drop lists.

At always, use the latest version of MetaMap for this to work.
