History

AtlasLoot was originally created by Pernicius as a plugin for Atlas and contained a handful of raid loot tables to browse. Unfortunately, Pernicius was unable to maintain the mod, so Daviesh took over and renamed it to AtlasLoot Enhanced to provide a distinction between the two versions. Since that time, AtlasLoot has grown to cover every loot table for every boss, every item set, PvP Items and items for every reputation faction. In January 2010 Hegarol took over the project from Daviesh. Finally, in 2014/2015 Lag completely rewrote the entire addon for AtlasLoot v8.

What is Atlasloot

AtlasLoot Enhanced is an UI mod allowing for loot tables of bosses to be browsed whenever needed within the game.

Below is list of custom modules which are developed and maintained by different author teams.

Features

Atlas Integration: You can easily link to Atlas map browser if your current visited instance loot table has a corresponding map provided in Atlas.
Dressing Room: Control-click items to show them in the Dressing Room.
Price Preview: See the prices for token items like PvP rewards.
Filter: Filter loot tables based on your class or set up your filter manually (NYI).
Instance Loot: All instance loot from every Dungeon (Normal and Heroic) and Raid.
Faction and PvP rewards
Collection Items: Armor Sets (Dungeon, Tier and Crafted), Mounts, Companions, Tabards, Legendary items and more.
Season and World Events: Skettis, Abyssal Council, Ethereum Prison, Feast of Winter Veil, Hallow's End, Brewfest, etc.

To Do

Add skill / source to crafting
Wishlist: Alt-click on any item to add it to the wishlist, alt-clicking on an item in the wishlist deletes it. There are buttons added to the Atlas panel and the loot browser to open the wishlist.
Partial Searching: Allows searching the whole AtlasLoot database for an item where you only know part of the name.
Quicklooks: Bind up to ten loot tables to 'Quicklook' buttons, allowing you to jump to them with only one click.

Slash Commands

'/al' or '/atlasloot' by itself brings up the loot browser.
'/atlasloot options' brings up the options menu.
'/atlasloot reset' resets the last viewed loot table (fixes disconnects when opening AtlasLoot) and moves all draggable frames back to the middle of the screen.
'/atlasloot mmb' toggles the minimap button on / off.
'/atlasloot togglebg' toggles background pictures on / off.

Do you have/did you have a UI compilation with custom fonts and the like? The only screenshot someone has provided had customs stuff like fonts outside of the AddOns directory. The problem is NOT the background, it is what the loot table mounts itself to (its 'anchor'). Something is raising the framestrata of the background and I have not been able to replicate it.

ok this is really upsetting... the stupid blue background is still covering over top the foreground, therefore I can not click on anything too see info, let alone hover over it. Is there a way too resolve this issue?
I just downloaded the update, and the only thing different for me is the color of the blue is darker now. Can we just loose the background entirely so that I can click on the stuff listed under it?

Sidenote** I did delete all the WTF files related too this mod.. Deleted this Mods folders (all of them) and empty recycle bin, before reloading it, and still have the issue of the background covering the foreground.

RFK, Overlord Ramtusk is listed twice instead of Agathelos the Raging. The loot is fine just the heading over the loot is wrong. Nothing major but thought id mention it.

Q1: Do you have Curse client?
Q2: Are you clicking "download" or "install via Curse client"?

It sounds like you don't have the client but clicked on the client install, and the Curse site freaked out. If that's not the problem, I can't help you, sorry!

I'm getting a weird message that won't let me download atlasloot or any addon for that matter. Can anyone help? the message is "Psyn://addonservice.curse.com/AddOnService.asmx/GetAddOn?pAddOnId=2134

I cant get my atlas loot to work properly. Ive uninstalled manually and reinstalled the most current versions. All i can get is dungeon maps and see the loots that drop. I cant view any pvp sets, raid sets, new area sets, heroic badge sets, rep sets, ect... the tabs at the bottom of the map screen for this stuff arent there. Ive tried turning all my addons off except atlas and atlas loot and the problem still persists. Any advice?

Click 'Show AtlasLoot Panel' at the top of the Atlas window. Then then buttons will appear.

love the mod, just 1 request. 3 wishlists per character, or at least 2 to keep track of off-spec items seperately. thank!

Daviesh: AtlasLoot v5 is missing the new pvp items added in WoW 3.0.2 patch: 4 upgraded Battlemaster's trinkets and 2 upgraded cloaks, all ilvl156 items (-> http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=26398 )

The latest update removed the + sign in the addons tab in the interface panel next to AtlasLoot so I can no longer turn on the minimap button.

Another issue I noted was that the last boss in Halls of Lightning was renamed to Loken.

I love the concept of the wishlist.

Apologies if these things have been asked before... but would it be possible to...

1. mark loot that appears in the raid chat channel with some symbol... like star... if it exists on the wishlist, so you know you should be bidding on it :)

2. Some of the items in sunwell are obtained by starting from a base item and adding a mote. Could putting the needed item on the wishlist also put the base item on the wishlist too? Same for deletion?

3. When you add an item to the wishlist from a screen, could you refresh the screen autmagically so the star appears? Currently I have to move to a different screen and then back to see the added item marked.

1 and 2 are a bit beyond the scope of the mod and maybe not the best use of time with WotLK less than 2 weeks out. As for 3, all that stuff gets updated when the screen is re-drawn. A can't change what appears unless some sort of UI event triggers a redraw.

The download from here has all the folders you need in it. Each loot modules is still a seperate load-on-demand entity.

The PvP Rep items are under PvP Rewards -> PvP Rewards (Level 70) -> PvP Reputation sets in the Atlas interface and in the loot browser under PvP Rewards -> PvP Rewards (Level 70), then just pick cloth, leather, etc.

2 Things:
1) Is the new version self contained? Do I still need the 6 extra folders of crafting, pvp, instances, etc. Or do I just need the Atlasloot folder in the download above for all items?
2) That was a lead-in for my next point. Some loot seems to be missing. The old PvP blues that are now rep items from LC, Cenarian, HH, CoT, etc are not listed.
