AtlasLoot Enhanced

History

AtlasLoot was originally created by Pernicius as a plugin for Atlas and contained a handful of raid loot tables to browse. Unfortunately, Pernicius was unable to maintain the mod, so Daviesh took over and renamed it to AtlasLoot Enhanced to provide a distinction between the two versions. Since that time, AtlasLoot has grown to cover every loot table for every boss, every item set, PvP Items and items for every reputation faction. In January 2010 Hegarol took over the project from Daviesh. Finally, in 2014/2015 Lag completely rewrote the entire addon for AtlasLoot v8.

What is Atlasloot

AtlasLoot Enhanced is an UI mod allowing for loot tables of bosses to be browsed whenever needed within the game.

Features

Atlas Integration: You can easily link to Atlas map browser if your current visited instance loot table has a corresponding map provided in Atlas.
Dressing Room: Control-click items to show them in the Dressing Room.
Price Preview: See the prices for token items like PvP rewards.
Filter: Filter loot tables based on your class or set up your filter manually (NYI).
Instance Loot: All instance loot from every Dungeon (Normal and Heroic) and Raid.
Faction and PvP rewards
Collection Items: Armor Sets (Dungeon, Tier and Crafted), Mounts, Companions, Tabards, Legendary items and more.
Season and World Events: Skettis, Abyssal Council, Ethereum Prison, Feast of Winter Veil, Hallow's End, Brewfest, etc.

To Do

Add skill / source to crafting
Wishlist: Alt-click on any item to add it to the wishlist, alt-clicking on an item in the wishlist deletes it. There are buttons added to the Atlas panel and the loot browser to open the wishlist.
Partial Searching: Allows searching the whole AtlasLoot database for an item where you only know part of the name.
Quicklooks: Bind up to ten loot tables to 'Quicklook' buttons, allowing you to jump to them with only one click.

Slash Commands

'/al' or '/atlasloot' by itself brings up the loot browser.
'/atlasloot options' brings up the options menu.
'/atlasloot reset' resets the last viewed loot table (fixes disconnects when opening AtlasLoot) and moves all draggable frames back to the middle of the screen.
'/atlasloot mmb' toggles the minimap button on / off.
'/atlasloot togglebg' toggles background pictures on / off.

This was a Blizzard bug, should have been fixed in Patch 3.0.3

I've installed Atlas, but when I go in the options to activate which addon (where we choose the character ) only AtlasLootEnhanced works, Outland and etc appear red.

After cleaning out my UI I wiped my WTF and WDB folders, uninstalled Atlasloot and reinstalled it....problem persists, Cannot read files.

I have the same blue background problem, that happen aparently at random (I still havent found a link with any event or addons)

Does this blue background is there for any important purpose? can it be just removed?

I'll try to keep an eye on when it does it again and what is workin around in game at that moment.

I am also for some crazy reason getting the Blue background covering over top the item links in the Atlasloot, so as I can no longer click on any of them, let alone hover over too get info on items. This in sense makes the mod useless, until I go back in and either delete the wtf file for all my toons or I reinstall the mod from scratch. It usually happens when I log in and out of raid groups. Not sure if it is another mod causing it too do this, or if it is atlasloot itself. The Blue background is annoying when it becomes the foreground.

Previously was using 5.01.01 and had this problem:

a large blue rectangle where the item links would be shown
updated to 5.01.03 and the big blue rectangle is still there.

Additionally, in .03 /al reset gives this error:
AtlasLoot-AtlasLoot Enhanced v5.01.03\Core\AtlasLoot.lua:375: attempt to index global 'AtlasLootMinimapButtonFrame' (a nil value)

Poked around in AtlasLoot.xml in the Core folder and under Background layer changed:
<Color r="0" g="0" b="0" a="0.7"/>
to
<Color r="0.1" g="0.1" b="0.1" a="0.7"/>
and it seems to be behaving how it was before, with the blueish background behind the itemlinks rather than in front
very odd :\

That has nothing to do with the layer order, that is just the colour of the layer. That screenshot looks fine to me, the mod itself is working. My theory is whatever enhancement you use to do the funky font may have played with the standard frame colouring.

Sometimes my ui shows a pop up window in game telling me that atlas is trying to do something that only blizz ui is allowed when i set or clear focus frame, any idea?

This is an Atlas, not AtlasLoot issue. There is a bug in Blizzard code at the moment where using standard dropdown menus taints the focus frame. Not a lot authors can do about it.

I can't find any reason for this error, and I have tested both manual installations and installations via the curse client. Make sure the mod is installed properly and has directory structure preserved. If all else fails, try generating a new WTF folder.

This is happening surprisingly frequently, so it can't all be people with the mod installed incorrectly. As an interim measure, try renaming your WTF folder and see what happens if WoW generates a new one for you. For some reason, the initialisation code for the mod is not firing on startup.

I kept getting this problem and it was fustrating. Then just now I had the idea to disable atlas. So I logged, turned off atlas, then logged back in and then atlasloot worked fine. There must be some kind of bug when both of these addons are enabled at the same time.

Cannot Read Files. I can search for items but that's it. I can never ever use the Loot Tables or Sub-Tables.

Same as Aloha12, Cannot read files. Strange thing is, I can use the addon once per login. So I can log in with my main, look at something, close the addon, then try to use it again and then i get the error. I can ALWAYS use it once, but never twice. If i log out, and log back in I can use it once more, but again never again until i relog.

Thanks so much for bringing this addon to us, its been priceless!
