Friends list improvements: notes, remembering the information of offline friends, friend list syncing and backups, and a fubar plugin for it all
I have same problem as Kbeast and is corrected when I disable AuldLangSyne. Also all was working well till I put new version of AuldLangSyne and putting old version back corrects issue. Hope this helps a little? This is such a gr8 add on thanks for keeping up dated and the gr8 work.
Thanks again
Edit: Just letting you know that for some reason the new or old version installed separate folders and the new one included the libs in the new release so just deleted old ones and fixed it all up and working well sorry to have false reported :-(. ALWAYS delete old folders lol.
Yeah sorry about that, the r218 release that someone else pushed out was not ready to use the new wowace packager and that caused the modules to be embedded. If you're geting errors about Cannot provide the same locale more than once, delete your AuldLangSyne folder and reinstall, it'll fix it.
I just looked into interface folder and noticed all modules have been extracted from original folder which needed to be deleted for those errors not to show. My mistake :)

When having AuldLangSyne [Info] enabled (also with no other addons enabled) I cannot see the members in the raid tab when I press O (friends/who/guild/raid tabs) in combat.
Will there be a fix for this?
New version posted that should fix the packaging related issues since the addon wasn't ever really converted from the wowace changeover.
Using new version numbers now they'll be in this format:
game_version.minor
So this first version is 3.0.8.0
I'll get back to this eventually and look at some of the ticket issues. If you have any problems please open tickets. By going to the ticket link above.
What "packaging related issues" are you refering to? The only problems I've had recently were the "dropdownmenu" error that was fixed in r218 and then the Sync feature no longer working! I gather that whatever these "packaging related issues" are, this is the reason you've moved the various ALS components into their own folders?
Also, as reported by Zajsoft, only the base AuldLangSyne addon has the correct .toc version number! All the other .toc's show either 20300 or 20400!
Oh, I don't intend to sign up to yet another site just to report problems, so seeing as the Ticket system is actually on WoWAce then I'll not be submitting any error reports via that system.
Packaging related issues as in libs were not properly pulled in from the correct places and the modules were not split out like they should be.
Pretty sure that your curse account is the same as your wowace account. Just log in over there with the same username/password as you do from over here. Curse actually runs the wowace stuff now.
As far as the TOC files. Yeah I missed that. It's updated in SVN. Didn't figure it'd justify a release just to fix that.
Thanks for taking over this GREAT addon. Since the last WoW patch or there about I keep getting this error
Error: attempt to index local 'dropdownMenu' (a nil value)

when I right lick on my portrait. Hope this is an easy fix. The mod seems to be working okay, but I don't use the "notes" very much.
Kemayo is no longer playing wow and updating this. I'll be updating it going into the future. Give me some time to get up to speed on it. I got it restored to take care of the Note bug fixed in 218 but someone else beat me to it. I'll try to take a loot at some of the other issues on in the next few days. If you can open tickets for any issues you find it would be very helpful. Thanks.

There's really no point in them being modules if they always load even if you aren't using them.

I updated to Cartographer alpha, still had the problem, and just disabled cartographer [mining] and that fixed that
Shefki, disabling auldlangsyne removes the problem, and cartographer appears to be working correctly, I will check on cartographer though
kbeast, willing to bet it was Cartographer that did that and not AuldLangSyne. Cartographer uses LibRock and messed those things up recently.

Should be fixed in r218. Not that I did it. Some else got to figuring it out before I did after I had it restored.
