Baggins
Inventory Management with virtual view divided into sections.
Now with baggins you can not only separate your bags into virtual view of your inventory but organize the items in your virtual view by item type! Bag options with endless possibilities. Add/remove/create categories, change skin of the view baggins does it all! Customize your bags to show items exactly how you like! No more looking for items and not being able to find them, look and know exactly where they should be!
For example one bag with profession items, one bag with gear, and so much more! You can even make your own categories!
You can use the minimap icon or /baggins to open the options window.
So this is a really minor irritation, but hopefully that means its an easy fix.
When I'm under Bag/Category Config, if I'm adding rules to any of the categories I use (for example, I split my trade good bag and have a different category for each profession, plus leaving a general "Mats" category for things that crossover like "Volatile Fire/Earth/Etc"), the menus that pop up to edit the rule, often stay up long after you've stopped hovering, making it hard to reach any of the buttons underneath (like Add Rule to add another rule to the same category, and it also doesn't refresh what the rule IS until you've clicked a button (for example, I use the up and down to change the order of the rules to get them to "refresh" instead of saying "OR New Rule").
For example, I want a "Mining & Ore" category, and want to add "PTSet:Tradeskill.Gather.Mining". I follow the menus down to select that, and we're all good. But I also want to add "PTSet:TradeskillResultMats.Forward.Smelting", except now the main "Editing Rule" window is still up from creating the Gather.Mining rule, and I can't click "Add Rule".
Ok, now once you stop hovering over it, it disappears within a few seconds, but it's irritating to have to wait for a menu to close when it should just disappear when you take your mouse away.
Hope this makes sense, its not a real "error message".
Also, small request. Is there a way we can get an option to turn on other currencies on our bags? i.e. Next to the amount of gold, how about how many Chef's Awards or Darkmoon Fair Tickets? Would be much nicer than having to go onto the Currency page to check.
Will there be an update? Since patch 4.3 I do have great problems with out-of-date-addons (can't load them, won't get into the game...). But I seriously miss this addon. I already went looking for another one but seem to cannot find anything which might suit me as well as Baggins.
Is there hope left to just wait some more with a little patience or do you have abandoned this project? Many thanks for an answer!
Will this addon be updated? Because unfortunately it blocks interaction with the new NPCs for Reforging, Transmogrification and Void storage. Apart from that it still seems to work properly, just have to disable it if I want to reforge etc.
Strange, I've had no problems with any of the new vendors (transmog, reforge and void storage) with this addon. Used them on multiple characters and different machines.
The only new error I'm getting is if I try to preview an item from my bank (control click) that's in the bank but not in a bag within my bank - ie, in the initial area all characters are given. That errors out on the cursor update, but if you now remove that line and don't return, it all works just fine.
I can not get a trash section, and my grey items do not show in my bags??
I have my own filter set up for tabards that filters any item that goes into equip location 'tabard' and has them all in their own category.
Are there any plans to integrate the Ace3 port of this?
BTW is there gonna be a new version of LibPeriodicTable ?
I am looking for an options to just add a gearset in baggings so it is the same as your equipmanager.
Anyone got an idea ?
that's the latest LibPeriodicTable. it's no longer updated here on Curse.
Also, I've got an addon called Baggins_eqm that has an option for gear sets to be filtered. I believe I got it here on Curse, but it doesn't look like it exists any longer. Maybe Google can help?
thx
@Kerecha
Hmmm. It sounds like you have issues above and beyond Baggins. What I've posted is a confirmed fix for multiple bag mods that I found in a few places.
keybind associated with Toggle Backpack opens Baggins or any bag mod but not the Backpack This is working exactly as it should.
keybind associated with Open All Bags will open Baggins or any bag mod and all the bags This is bugged like you mentioned.
The behaviors above may not match what we were seeing before 4.1, but it's how they are now. Set Toggle Backpack as the keybind that you want to open Baggins with and make sure it's set to "Override Default Bags" and you will be fine. As above, if you are seeing a different behavior there are other issues at play.
@superfula
Blizzard "Toggle Backpack" opens Backpack only not baggins.
Baggins "Toggle all bags" opens baggins only.
The above 2 work as they should, the problem comes next:
Blizzard "Open all bags" opens Bag 1-4 and Baggins this is where it gets strange/bugged.
Blizzard "Open all bags" should open Backpack and Bag 1-4 and NOT Baggins.
Also hitting the bind again does not close the bags as it should.
Also with Baggins active Blizzard "Open all bags" keybind is completely broken when you are at the bank. Disable Baggins and all keybinds works normal. incl toggle function.
@Kerecha
You need to make sure that Toggle Backpack is your primary bag shortcut. So for you, it would be "I". For me it's shift-B.
The issue is that before the patch, the shortcut that opened Baggins was the Open All Bags keybind. For whatever reason...bug, Blizz...who knows...that keybind was changed.
