Baggins
Inventory Management with virtual view divided into sections.
Now with baggins you can not only separate your bags into virtual view of your inventory but organize the items in your virtual view by item type! Bag options with endless possibilities. Add/remove/create categories, change skin of the view baggins does it all! Customize your bags to show items exactly how you like! No more looking for items and not being able to find them, look and know exactly where they should be!
For example one bag with profession items, one bag with gear, and so much more! You can even make your own categories!
You can use the minimap icon or /baggins to open the options window.
Technically you can go to a specific line number in Notepad as well (CTRL+G). But notepad++ is just better all-around, of course. I wish I had known about it back in Vanilla when I was stil coding addons - I wrote most of mine completely in Notepad.
edit: is it just me, or is the Curse commenting system completely borked? This was a reply to #417, right... below... this comment?
Thx for the reply, I will monitor is and will tell you whats not being filtered out.
The latest release v2.0.1 and the latest Alpha is r458 as you can see here. I did not release v2.0.2 yet, because I was waiting for feedback on the battlepet-fix (which seems to be incomplete).
The battle-pet filters in baggins do not rely on LibPeriodicTable, so it's not that. Item-ids won't work as pets don't have Item-IDs. I'll have a look if I can fix it some other way. Can you tell me more about the battle-pets the filter missed?
Authors, can ya confirm last version ? Alpha/beta or release ? I see different numbers showing up, and A r458 is a lowre number than the A on files.
Also The pets are still not working, it shows only 2 pets in my filter, other 2 show under other. When I manually add in by item ID or name it does not work either.
Do you need to implend a new LibPeriodicTable-3.1 in yur baggins version ?
has anyone got this working with outfitter?
Has anyone been able to get this working with outfitter? it seems the previous addons that provided filters dont work right.
I love this addon ^_^ and was really excited that it was being updated. I did have a small problem after the new update though. I will only open when I talk to venders or my bank all other times only individual bags open. Maybe I am doing something wrong :(
First of all, i love this addon and i've been using it since BC and i'm glad you returned to maintain it. I would like to suggest adding a support for Masque, skinning the icons of the bags would be great, maybe it is something already on your to do list, maybe not :) And again, my bags would be a mess without your good work :)
Thank you for maintaining this, its the best bag addon around! :)
Thx prof for continuing this...I can't use any other bag addon ever again (:
Hi guys, great to see this is maintained. I wasn't really very happy with other modules I used out of necessity.
Hi. Great to see there are still some users out there. Don't hesitate to provide more feedback on the new versions. For issues please consider creating tickets And for everyone who created a ticket for the Ace2-baggins-version please check again if it persists with the Ace3-Version (I won't get through them all).
@DarkLimpan Your issue has been fixed in r451
Seems like this new version forgets the money on bag-setting, as it reappears everytime I log on or reload ui after having told it to hide it.
Does anyone know why this happens?
Using the CurseClient with "prefered release type" -> "Alpha" the addon was updated : r445 -> r446
It showed some errors. The first error was: missing Ace3 lib
I installed it manually and got other errors.
After installing all missing libs the Alpha is working again AND all my bag/category config is still there :-)
Theese are the missing libs, I installed:
Ace3
LibQTip
LibDBIcon

The Baggins_Search plugin works with the Ace3-Port
edit: ahh, yes. i had to change the anchoring/placement of the layout area to get it to show (i wasn't leaving enough room at the top of the screen). thanks.
two features i would be looking for out of the Ace3 port: Baggins_Search and Baggins_Outfitter.
looks like the Ace3 port has the Outfitter functionality built in. but i don't see any sort of Search functionality. can anyone clarify, and/or point me in the correct direction?
thanks.
Apperently the addon is still maintained on wowace website.
Current version: r584
Pet cages is fixed there.

edit: link wrong -> it now works with Ace3 instead of Ace2
Nice it keeps updated.. but when Ik add these files to my old baggins, baggins will not startup or be availible anymore..
is there any complete release inatead of the alpha's ?
Or what can I do to fix this ?
Ha the same problem when i upgraded. Apparently the filtersystem changed. i just reseted Baggins and recreated my filters. MoP items are filtered fine now.
