Baggins
Inventory Management with virtual view divided into sections.
Now with baggins you can not only separate your bags into virtual view of your inventory but organize the items in your virtual view by item type! Bag options with endless possibilities. Add/remove/create categories, change skin of the view baggins does it all! Customize your bags to show items exactly how you like! No more looking for items and not being able to find them, look and know exactly where they should be!
For example one bag with profession items, one bag with gear, and so much more! You can even make your own categories!
You can use the minimap icon or /baggins to open the options window.
My reset new items option is missing
The alt-right click menu is not scrollable. I can't manually add an item to a group that doesn't happen to be one of the few displayed at the top of the menu.
Really wish this still used the old mouse-wheel scrollable menus.
I have the same issue with the alt-right click. Really need that fixed.
That's been slightly annoying me as well. Your solution seems reasonable to me so I've put up a new revision including that fix. Thanks!
Noticing an error when I have a custom category of "Equipment Set". I have a dps and a healing set showing in my bags. I have 2 belts of the same name, just different gems, in each set. If I switch from wearing healing to dps, the healing belt is still showing under the dps category. What's happening is that when I login, the dps belt in my bag gets cached in Baggins:CheckSlotsChanged() as dps. When I switch to dps, the healing belt gets placed in the same bag/slot, and Baggins thinks the item hasn't changed so shows it under the wrong category.
The cache is using item id, count, and the name - none of those change in this case. I tried a quick test and added the link instead of the name, and everything shows correctly in the bag now. Maybe you can grab the unique id off the item string or something instead, not sure what the best solution is to fix it.
That's on my list of things to do, as then there's no reason to ever show the default bank. Next up is sorting the reagent bank.
@atholbro
should add a toggled bag bar frame for changing out bags while you're in there! :p (love that in AdiBags)
I love the addon! Really useful! I just have an issue, I have two custom categories, "Armor Soulbound" and "Weapons Soulbound" and I modified default "Armor" and "Weapons" categories to show all except Soulbound. So everything works fine in my bags but not in bank bags... any way to solve this?
Thanks!
Did you add the new category to the bank bags as well?
So its working for me:
Changed Armor by adding a new Bind Rule, operation: AND, Type: Bind, Bind Type: Unbound.
Added Armor-Soulbound, copied the first 2 rules from Armor, then added a new Bind rule, operation: AND, Type: Bind, BindType: Unbound.
Then add Armor-Soulbound to both Equipment and Bank Equipment.
Great addon. Even after installing Ace3, baggins will not open when clicking on the default bag.
Does the keybind "Interface Panel -> Open all Bags" work?
I have Interface > Addons > Baggins set to Override Default Bags, but clicking on the backpack (F12) does not open baggins.
Clicking B has the same results, does not open Baggins.
Have same problem :(
Have installed ACE3 from curse site and have r467 of Baggins installed.
Please advise, really like using Baggins and has been my bag addon since 2008.
Just to clear this up, you're both clicking you backpack using the mouse? What happens you you press the "B" key? My baggins does not show when I actually click the backpack bag. Is this what you'd like to happen? I've rebound F12, so I'll have to make a lvl 1 to try that.
On a side note, the Ace3 install is no longer required with the newest release "r467", as the update to Ace3 has been included in Baggins. I'd advise anyone who did install Ace3 to now remove it.
When I press the "B" or the "F12" key it brings up the backpack, not Baggins.
Try the alpha, available here: http://www.wowace.com/addons/baggins/files/ . There's nothing specific to this change, but I'd like to verify all libraries are updated.
Try alpha r472 at wowace. Should allow you to open baggins by clicking the backpack button.
Doesn't work with Reagent Bank. Any plans to add support for that?
I have parts of the Reagent Bank working now. Still a few issues to sort out before its functional for everyone.
Update: most issues resolved, still testing.
Update 2: basically done, cleaning up patch and submitting tomorrow.
