#BankItems v9.0.2.3: Change Log

Please report any errors with the addon at our issues tracker.

An addon that remembers the contents of your bank, bags, mail, equipped, currency, auction house, void storage and display them anywhere in the world. Also able to remember/display the banks of any character on the same account on any server, as well as searching and exporting lists of bag/bank items out. It will also remember the contents of Guild Banks if you are able to view them.

Type /bi or /bankitems to see what is currently in your bank. You must visit your bank once to initialize.
Type /bigb or /bankitemsgb to see what is currently in your guild bank. You must visit your guild bank once to initialize. Note that Guild Banks are a shared repository and changes can occur to it by other members of your guild.

##Plugins

These plugins allow clicking on the panel/plugin icon to open BankItems, giving a summarized view of inventory slots and money of each character on the same realm, and deleting data with the menu quickly.

LDB plugin for BankItems: BankItems provides a LDB launcher if LibDataBroker-1.1 is detected to be loaded. (built-in)

##Commands

/bi : open BankItems
/bi all : open BankItems and all bags
/bi allbank: open BankItems and all bank bags only
/bi clear : clear currently selected player's info
/bi clearall : clear all players' info
/bi showbuttun : show the minimap button
/bi hidebutton : hide the minimap button
/bi open charname : open bank of charname on the same server
/bi charname : open bank of charname on the same server
/bi search itemname : search for items
/bis itemname : search for items
/bigb : open BankItems guild bank
/bi clear : clear currently selected player's info
/bigb clear : clear currently selected guild's info

Most options are found in the GUI options panel.

Not a bug

If you close your bank after retrieving/storing an item in it too quickly and the server hasn't updated your inventory, BankItems is unable to record the change to your bank when the item actually moves later. The WoW API does not give you any data about your bank once BANK_FRAME_CLOSED event has fired.

Tooltip information regarding items on the Auction House, Mailbox and Guild Bank(s) may be out of date and thus be inaccurate. They will only be updated on your next visit to the respective places.

Sorry i want to make sure i'm precise and specific. Could you possibly update it so that it tracks justice points and the new honor so we will be able to see our totals and each individual character's amount of them when mousing over them in the currency tab, much like the previous emblems and marks before 4.0?

When I loot, and sometimes when others loot and I share in the gold, I experience a very brief freeze in my game. It only lasts a fraction of a second but I've gone through the process of turning on addons one by one and discovered that in my case BankItems v40000 appears to be causing this. I've tried deleting my *.lua files thinking they might have become too bloated, but this did not solve my issue. I'm not sure what more to say except that I've been using this addon for over a year and only this recent version is causing a freeze upon looting. Let me know if i can provide any more information, I'll check back.

I am experiencing this as well. I know another player that is too. Every loot causes the came to freeze for no more than 1 sec if that even.

I was just leveling a profession and I make ample use of bank alts. So I was thinking how invaluable this addon has been to me and how I'd be lost without it.

Would it be possible to add an option that you only show tooltip info when holding say "alt" or "shift"?

Nice for to keep the tooltips neat and tidy :-)

probably my favourite addon as I have a load of alts, only one glitch I can see, Bankitems reports double the number of arrows my hunter has, listing the same arrows twice, as in bags, and equipped.

This has quickly become one of my favorite addons (Second only to Carbonite). One thing I would like to see (or know how to do, if it is currently possible). I've noticed that your addon adds a "Warehouse total" to items in their context menu. Is there any way to link a specific guild bank to this total? I, like many, have one toon that I have set up a guild on for the extra bank space. If it is possible to already do, please let me know how.

Is there any way of exporting a list of the contents of a given guild bank to say an csv file. The reason I ask is that our guild website (mmoguildsites) has a bank option but items need to be manually added via text files.

I had used this addon before (tried out altoholic, nice but too big and has too many features - just want to see how many of an item on each toon). I thought this great addon showed you in tooltip which toon had how many? I can search for ie. "eternal fire" and its shows them but it only shows the current player in tooltip. Any chance to add this feature if it is not in the current release?

I have a question can this mod track and show inventories across accounts? I have two accounts and would like to be able to browse both from one toon ( see how i dont always have the second account up).
Or did i miss a mod that already does this.

No mod can do that. WoW stores in different folders for each account you have, and no account has access to another account. To sync data, you will need to use an external means, such as hard-linking the 2 folders together using NTFS junctions or a batch file script.

this is like the best mod of the game and i love the way it works and helps me find what i need. Is there a a possiblility that we could see and update it would be greatly appreciated
