How large is your guild bank that your sorting ? Mine is max tabs with a pretty full inventory of items. I cant get past the first tab without it timing out and saying its confused. I have the guild bank cautious tabbed clicked and the settings at max so it takes its time. Any ideas on how to get it working ?

I'm able to sort with each tab in my guild bank at full one tab at a time at the settings I described without the add on stopping. Not sure why its working for me and not for most every one else. Maybe reaction time from the servers may very a slight for each server and I'm just lucking out. All I can say for now until the auther is able to come up with a fix, is to fiddle with the settings and see if you can find one that works for you. Good luck ;)

Not working properly anymore, even after the 5.2 updated ver. After a few guild bank moves it stops and your cursor changes into the last item that was being moved, and won't go any further until you either click a place to set the item or right click to cancel in open area. It will begin going again for a bit after this but will abort and say it's confused.

yes, i have cautious guild option set on and after looking back here I have also set all the timing options all the way up to 1. It still breaks on occaision with that, but if i reloadui it will sometimes fix it. It almost seems that we need to be able to make the advanced settings even slower than 1

As of 5.2 I can no longer get this Addon to work for my guild bank. Last night (5.1) it worked fine, but today (5.2) it won't work for my guild. Still works great for my bank and for my bags.

Issue: After I start sorting via /sort guild1 or whichever tab it may be, it prints to chat how many moves it has to make, and then it will start moving but after like 2 or 3, it stops and I have to leave my bank and come back to start again. When it stops it does so while an item is selected so if I click in a bank spot it will drop that item there, but I still have to leave and come back to continue sorting.

I'm having the same issue even after the update to BankStack.   :(

just wanting to confirm same issue here, I really hope it gets fixed <3 this addon.

DERP: just saw it's been updated

Update: even after updating sorting no longer works and does Alaghoth says, starts sorting and then suddenly stops and shows you have an item selected on your cursor, trying to sort again repsonds with process already running.

Just wondering if this is getting an update with 5.2, as it seems to not be working for me anymore and I use this addon religiously.  Please please please update this, thank you!

Seeing as how this addon hasn't been updated, I'm not sure I'll get any help with my problem (but someone else might have an answer!). The addon is sorting fine in that everything is in order the way it should be (except for two low level crafting materials that are ahead of mop mats only because they're blue >: | ). My problem is that it sorts high mats to low mats in my guild bank, from the left of the tab to the right. I want the low level mats to be on the left hand side, and I can get it to do this.... but the result is everything is on the right hand side of the tab, instead of the left.... if I am making any sense. I would upload a screen shot if i knew how :/

Hey great mod! Just wondering if it's possible for it to ignore rarity and just sort by item type? For my guild bank I want all items of the same type grouped but it seems to be seperating them by rarity, eg: epic gems are mixed in with epic armor and then other gems aren't with them.

I like this suggestion aswell.

Other thing I would like to, I saw that bacnkstack does alot unnessary moves while sorting. For example, when I got got 20 same kind of bags in my bags and everything is already sorted by addon. Then I move the first bag into embty area by one single move. Addond sorts that out with 19 moves instead the one I made.

I'm loving this addon! My guildie found it a couple of weeks ago, after I mentioned "I wish there was a way to compress all the crap in my Bagnon bag and put the free space at the bottom."  I really should have thought to check here myself, lol.

One question/request I might put in here; would it be at all possible to move the minimap button to the top of the bag itself?  My minimap is getting a bit cluttered, I can never seem to make slidebar work, and to me it makes a little more sense to have it there, or at least put in an option to put it there instead of on the minimap.

I used to be able to use the following command to sort a single tab of my guild bank:

/sort guild 3

Now when I use that command, it sorts like ... the first THREE bank tabs. It's really frustrating. I have my tabs sorted out by type, I deposit them manually, and then I used to just run the /sort command to organize each tab. I screwed up most of my tabs because I didn't catch that it changed how it sorts.

Is the "/sort guild #" no longer available, or what's changed?

This may be me missing something or just not understanding groups properly but here is what i want to do....

I would like to sort the guild bank putting ore and herbs on the second tab.  cloth and leather on the third tab. etc...

Can this be done?  

I love the functionality of this addon and will continue to use it, just would like to get the described functionality when i do a /sort guild.

Is there a way to get it to arrange my guild bank by item level first then by equip slot (IE, 414 shoulder, 414 mace, 397 chest, 350 ring, etc).  I just started over on a new server, and I'm keeping all the BOE items I get in my bank alt guild bank for when I get around to making an enchanter.  Once I do start DEing, I'd like to be able to just grab the BOEs out of the bank in order without needing to search through them to make sure I have all the items my character can DE.

Edit:  I was (kinda) able to get this functionality by editing the sort.lua so all the equip slots have a priority of 0.  Weapons and items of differing rarity are still sorted together, but still closer to what I'm looking for.
