The addon desperately needs to have GLOBAL ignore options! Each time I click the mini-map button, forgetting to use a modifier key, I get my inventory bags, two of which are specifically set up with specific items and are toggled (in the UI) 'ignore' for sorting. For starters, your addon needs to be able to recognise that UI setting. If this isn't done, then I am not using it anymore and never going to recommend. In the next instance, you need to add global ignore settings for ALL inventory/bank/guild transaction vectors. The slot-by-slot ignore mechanism is fine for small jobs but tedious for setting an entire bag/panel to be ignored. Great and fast sort algorithm with an ordering that mostly suits my nitpicky organisational needs. The ease of configuration needs some work, please.

Is there a option to toggle on off the display of the search bar in guild vault there is already a blizz one and im not in need of two? Also is there a toggle on/off for the Stack entire guild vault button in the bottom left of my screen when i open the guild vault?

This is, without fail, my favorite addon.  Makes my life 100% easier.  

I used it a few years ago and occasionally got errors, havn't seen even a single error since I started playing again about 2 or 3 months ago! :)

And let me tell you:. there was nothing more saitisfying to come into my bank, full of 20 stacks of herbs, leather and ore and hit that compress button <3

When i try ot sort or compres guild bank i got message " BankStack: Confusion, Stoping"

Same issue. Takes forever to try to sort gbank.

Try going to the advanced settings and raising all the timers to the full 1 second. That fixed it for me. 

argggg! I hate it when you have a good addon in theory but can't get it working and the authors appeared to have bailed. No responses for a LONG time on here or WoWInterface. (Yes I posted this there too.)  I need to more details info on setting this up. I ONLY want it to sort my guild bank and can't figure out how to make it do that or even work on the guild bank for that matter.

To sort your guild bank, you ALT-Click on the broker button (if you have it up) while the guild bank is open. Not sure if /sort guild or /sort bank will work as I have not tried it since I use the broker button. It will sort that tab, although it is slow. To compress stacks in the guild bank type /compress guild.

/sort guild

/sort bank 

/compress guild

the list is pretty endless and usually intuitive on how to sort/compress/ move.

Confusion problems arise with items that have changed status or cannot be sorted - giving rise to confusion errors (say you are sorting and there is a unique owned pet (unlearnt) - this tends to trigger the error as it cant move the item out and then back in without hitting a conflict of you already having one "seen" in your bag. usually persisting in sorting it or removing items that have changed status from BOE/BOP/souldbound fixes it.

It would be lovely<3 if the author could update it for these items and help with resolving the frame error which is persistent.

Hi, for some time I have been getting an error i could not associate with a specific addon <framexml.button> which appeared when i was using any item turned in on a quest.

The error below turned up today for the first time (not associated with turning in a quest, but with a sort). Its almost identical but its related to bankstack. I have just deleted all my addons and saved variables reinstalling all the addons to try and get rid of the nusiance error.

Wondered if you could clarify what might be triggering this error and if there is a fix for it please?

I love this addon and prefer it over blizzard's sorting. One thing I have noticed is that if a merchant window is open and you try to use bankstack it goes so slow.

Shift+Click "Stack form bags to bank"  dont work with Fractured temporal crysatal. Temporal crystal...

I have a problem with rearrange my bank, /sort bank doesn't work, alt+click too :(

For reasons I have never understood this addon will shuffle items of the same type during a large sort with one sitting out of place when the sort ends. When you tell it to sort again to get it into place it will shuffle a little more to the side of the bag its pushing things to, but will not truely complete until several cycles have every last like item flipped out and back in each tiny sort. Typically I will move the item manually into place, but its just a peculiar behavior that only really stands out when you have a dozen or so of the same item shuffling about.

That said...  I've used BankStack for near the six years and I've enjoyed the order it brings to ever-increasing bag and bank space especially when virtual bag mods break... except when Blizzard pops a surprise, undocumented change. *COUGH*GUILDVALUTTHROTTLE*COUGH*
