FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

I've had a quick scan below but cant see this mentioned, macro's with [button] conditionals dont appear to work i.e. when I have my lock's summon spells set up per shift/alt/ctrl button pressing the appropriate button and then clicking the actionbar does nothing.. same with "Buffet" dynamic macros for "Shift" to use bandage. Any advice would be appreciated.

help
Essentially, though, I'm looking for a way to back-up my hotkeys so that I can easily copy/paste a file before entering the game that Bartender can read and adjust after I make the changes in game. Then, whomever is resetting to default can keep doing so and I won't have to go through the pain of binding 48 keys :)
Thanks!
Same goes for when I enter a vehicle. If I enter a vehicle the access to the vehicle's abilities are not shown to me, and that becomes a problem for raiding, and pvping(in WG and SOTA).
If you can tell me whats wrong? I tried disabling all my other addons, and reinstalling bartender, but I continue having the same problem.
Set the number of rows for the bar you want as vertical to '12'.
My Question:
I'm trying to make a very minimalist bar setup that only shows essential abilities for a given boss. What I hoped I could do with bartender is map my buttons and just drop different abilities on those buttons and save each one a a profile for that boss (so thorim would have targetting macros, blizzard and my normal attack spells, hodir would have frost ward, invisibility and different targetting macros, razorscale would have fire ward etc...). Unfortunately, spell placement on my bars does not save between profiles on bartender. Is there anyway I can make bartender remember setups like this for different profiles?
More info if it's needed: I hate those convoluted UIs that have a hundred buttons on them mapped to 1-9, shift1-9, ctrl1-9 and ctrlshift1-9. As a web designer I know the value of simplicity so I want as few spells/buttons as possible on my screen and the option to change what I see based on pre-made setups for a given encounter. If bartender can't figure this out then can someone recomend a mod that can?
PS: the 'character specific keybinds' option does not resolve this, as the profiles are all being used on the same character.
