FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

Then I edited the file .../Bartender4/Bartender4.lua
I deleted the lines
--MainMenuExpBar:UnregisterAllEvents()
--MainMenuExpBar:Hide()
It didn't work however. I can't find any other mention in any of the LUA files about the xp bar.
Well, if you've ever done like me and loaded your default UI after using bartender to set up your buttons, you'll notice that bartender is essentially taking those 6 stacked tabs (plus the 4 for left/right and bottom 1&2) and giving them to you in a rearrangable format.
So what I'd suggest is load up your character with bartender disabled. Look at your main spellbar. See if it is switched to the second set (there is a set of arrows on the right of it along with a number). If the number is 2 and you're seeing your spells from bar 2, then simply switch it back to bar 1 and all should be fixed.
I'd also recommend if you're using the shift key as your modifier that you don't have blank buttons on your number bar (you might accidentally try to shift one of those blank buttons and confuse the default UI into doing what it's supposed to do by nature) OR you can go into your keybindings and I'm sure there is an option in there somewhere to change the shortcut for switching your bar tabs.
Hope this helps! ^.^
Did some changes today, started using switching. To make it simple, I switch from bar one to bar two using shift. All the slots are keybound, 1 2 3 4 and shift 1 shift 2 shift 3.....you get what I mean.
Everything worked beautifully for half an hour, I was happy.
All of a sudden( yes, in a boss fight) bar two "inherited" the spells of bar one, they kind of became the same.
After some messing around I fixed it, the bars now looks like they should. The switching works fine. Now I can't get the keybindings to work. Bar one is bound as it should and in the keybinding list bar two should be bound with shift but it isn't. When I rebind it it doesn't bind, keeps the bindings of bar one and therefore simply doesn't work.
I have reloaded ui, relogged, restarted, reinstalled. At my wits end.
Ideas anyone?
Also, I'm having Profile problems. Even though I choose Character Specific Key Bindings, they don't change when I change characters. I'm really tired of having to re-bind when I want to go level an alt or something. I've also checked off Character Specific on the default menu (when you press escape > key bindings)
Other than that it's great and very flexible
when i have my pet active the default action bar for my pet is in the spot where it would be without bartender. it blocks my chat box and some of my other bars, its really annoying.
The biggest problem i have is with the totem bar. I've found out that if i die in combat and come back, it doesnt let me change my totem sets or any totems on the bar. reloading the ui fixes this. another thing is in combat, i cant change totems or sets, which is a huge disadvantage in pvp and pve as well. Please fix these problems as soon as you can and thanks again for the hard work you put in to Bartender. =)
- What am I supposed to do !?
I hate setting them up again s; hehe
