FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

The icons I put on, say, bar 1 are also showing up on bar 7. The 2 bars are complete duplicates. I've tried reloading the UI but didn't do anything.
This toon is a warrior and I want to use bar 1, which switches when I switch stance, for stance specific buttons and I'm using bar 7 as a general icon bar.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've used this add-on for ages and really like it otherwise. This toon is fairly low, if that makes any difference.
I'm guessing this is not a bartender issue but most likely a problem with an API call that bartender is using since the problems persist after WOW has exited.
I've been able to reproduce this problem 100% of the time.
Here's what I did:
I updated to the latest G15 keyboard drivers from Logitech.
I disabled all add-ins. Went into WOW and hit the G keys on my G15. No problem. I have 3 active wow accounts so I tried this on all 3. No issues.
I logged out of one of my WoW accounts. Went into Add Ons and enabled bartender 4. Logged back in. No problem with anything until I hit a G key. As soon as this happened all running instances of wow (and any other app like notepad) have weird keymapping issues.
If I hit CTRL-ALT-DELETE the apps running Bartender 4 freeze. The Wow Apps not running bartender 4 do not freeze but do continue to have key mapping issues.
I then rebooted, installed Extra bars, remapped my keys, and used the G keys with no problems. I then rebooted and enabled every add in I had before except bartender 4 and hit the G keys with no problems.
Not a huge deal, but since I have searched everywhere and have seen no mention of this issue I thought I'd bring it up.
Thanks
Rolling back to the previous version and it is ok again.
It seems other addons that use this have also had problems.
Something to do with:
"ButtonFacade will no longer be registered in the global namespace. Authors will have to use AceAddOn or IsAddOnLoaded() check for it"
Many thanks.
I dunno, maybe the Default profile resets when you make a new character? In any case, try saving your settings for your main in a different profile. Then you can try making a new character. If that doesn't fuck things up for your main, you can even import the profile settings from your main's profile to your alts' profiles (since you apparently have several :D).
1: Mouse buttons and special keys will unbind every time I switch between primary and secondary talents. I have to rebind them each and every time.
2: Every time I make some changes to a bar, I have to do these changes on both primary and secondary talent mode. Tedious.
I also want to make a wish for a function:
To ease up on primary/secondary talent mode on bars, make an option that makes a bar switching on primary/secondary talent or not. Most bars I use doesn't need to switch between these primary/secondary modes at all.
Working as intended, and I'm sure you'll see why it has to be the way it is.
Or maybe I misinterpreted your issue. If so, I apologise, and hopefully you'll specify further in a reply.
"Always Hide" is in the Visibility tab.
