FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

I don't find this to be the case at all, re: doing world quests like absorbing azerite from the ground or from slain enemies. The stack frame analyzer reveals it's now called ExtraAbilityContainer, but neither Bartender or MoveAnything can move it, even if only one of the two addons is installed at a time. No matter what I do with Extra Action Bar in Bartender, it stays put.

So this might be a little random but anyway to get bartender to allow one tile to be a drop down ? Like with the hunter we have one ability and we click on it and it it gives us like 4 or 5 to choose from ? I would like to be able to make one for mounts, and toys. That will free up like 20 slots lol

In reply to ThaDanus:
Uncheck everything in action bar in interface option will stop the error message.
In reply to Kevinqu:
The release (4.10.4) today fixed the errors. Thank you nevcairiel for the quick fix!
There is no way to recover the minimap button if you get rid of it on a character. That minimap icon is also the only way to access the profile switching menu, so those characters are forever unable to change their profile. There is also no menu present in the Add Ons menu to access any of the Bartender settings.
In reply to gozzee_:
You get to the Bartender Settings by typing "/bt"

I am having a problem with repositioning the minimap buttons as another addon, AtlasLootClassic, is overlapping with Bartnder4. I have already tried moving the ALC button, as it does have a feature to do that, but it failed. I have opened an issue request with the writers of ALC. I have noticed that Bartender4 does not have a way to move the minimap button to reposition it. If there is away, please let me know. If not, I suggest that there be some new code written to make that happen. Thanks.
In reply to tforc:
Not a fix but these two addons will collect all the mini map buttons and put them anywhere you would like them, just not on the mini map.
( Addon: Minimap Button Frame )
OR the better one I think, for it also collects other addon tools that use broker display (Like Bartender4 options) that you don't really want on the broker display. ( Addon: HidingBar )
Thanks for all of your work on this addon over the years. <3
I'm getting this error in the latest version (4.10.2):
So question, lots of my bars have toys and mounts on it. Can i create a drop down in bartender? Like with hunter abilities? where we have feed pet, tame and etc in a drop down? So i can clear up many spots in bartender?
In reply to LatinRJ:
You want the addon: FlyoutButton Custom
It does just what you want and also works with Bartender.
My bartender4 isn't working at all. When I load the game I don't see any action bars, cant even access the bartender options.
I disabled all my addons and left only Bartender active and still nothing.
I also tried a fresh install, deleted older bartender folder, still no luck
anyone have any ideas ?
Thanks

Update:
After reading a post by Leichenengel, I looked at where my addons were being installed. C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns
Which is wrong
They are supposed to be installed to C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\AddOns
So I moved everything over and BANG .... everything WORKS !!!!
I feel stupid for not catching it on my own, but Alas WoW is playable again
In reply to Realenv:
