FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

Any chance of an option to scale the talking head? I used to use dominos and that used to have a talking head selection and i had it scaled down to 75%.
In reply to Siven80:
You can also try BeQuiet addon, it will completely get rid of talking head if you prefer that! Can be very handy specially in dungeons/raids.
In reply to Siven80:
Bartender does not currently touch the talking head, and with the new Edit Mode it might also be troublesome, but I'll keep it in mind if Edit Mode allows us more access at some point without breaking all the things.
Is there an option to not show honor bar as exp bar in BGs or at least limit the exp bar to only track one thing at a time so it doesn't show 2 bars in bgs
In reply to kopidruid:
I think you can disable tracking of honor in the pvp window? Not sure. What is being tracked on the bar is controlled by Blizzard right now.
I like how you can have the classic look with the updated textures. Any chance these new textures could be added to classic?
In reply to asfihfwirhwr:
The textures are part of the game, and not actually part of Bartender. So most likely not, sorry.
Just received the latest update today 10/30. Add-on still gives error. I disabled all other add-ons and still there. I know blizzard is still working on the UI so maybe that's the issue.
Why is there such a huge difference between bartender 4 pre dragonflight and the current alpha model on retail? And what I mean by this is that the same settings that I use in classic I use in retail and there is a LARGE gap between buttons.

In reply to sicariusgaming87:
Blizzard changed the default sizes of all bars going into DF, what the Bartender Author did in compensation for that is he reduced our scale/padding on retail bartender accordingly to match what blizzard did. Your bar scaling and padding should be no different visually speaking, but in the settings, the bartender author adjusted our scaling and padding so we wouldn’t have to do it ourselves. Hope this makes sense. The only true problem that arises from this is that your key bindings or hotkeys on your bars are now probably really small, there is a fix coming for that soon. Sorry for poor format, on my phone atm
In reply to sicariusgaming87:
The huge gaps are caused by Masque. You can reduce them by going into the Masque settings, general settings, and turn on Classic Scaling. Might also ask with the Masque people.
In reply to nevcairiel:
OMG THANK YOU FOR THE INFORMATION
it was mindbuggling me how i updated bartender now 5 times and reinstalled older version but still had these problems.
its fixed now, THANK YOU
In reply to sicariusgaming87:
hey. what is your addon for the border with ping, fps, etc?
Does Blizz know about the flyout and hold to cast issues?
Any way to get the text on the xp-bar to always show and not just when hovering over?
It´s for the Wrath Classic version.
Not sure if this has already been answered or not. Forgive me if it has, I might just be blind.
When using the Classic UI (because I fear change) I noticed that the little arrows that used to be at the end of the main bar are now blacked out and unclickable, so I cant switch to the other bars I had set up.
I CAN enable the extra bonus bar, but that isnt quite what I am looking for, as it just slaps it right on my screen, and I just want to be able to push the little arrow (or shift up arrow/down arrow) when I want to swap to my other bar, which is just filled with pointless things.
In reply to androidbowno:
This is exactly what I was looking for too. Hopefully it can be added to the preset! I like to keep a little bars visible as possible at a time.
I love this addon and literally can't live without it.
Since the new patch introduced Talent Present there's something that's driving me insane, where I switch presets the whole button scheme changes according to that present, since I use buttons for mundane stuff like toys and watnot.
I was wondering if there's a way to stop a bar from switching between presets of the same spec and remember the previous layout I worked on?
EDIT: I've found a workaround for this for now, apparently there's a default option built in the talent window itself, when you mouseover the saved loadout there's a little gear symbol - and when you click that, you'll have an option to tick that's says "Use Shared Action Bars" tick that along with all the other loadouts you wanna share buttons with and vuwalla
In reply to WeazelSenpai:
Okay so I have this box UN-checked because I want my talent spec to have different bars, but when bartender is active it acts as if I have the box checked and both my seperate specs have the same bars ><
In reply to Cthylla11111:
Make sure that box is Unchecked in both the loadouts and not just one. It's weird how blizz implemented that one, but yea.
