FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

For menu style buttons, like pet summons and/or pet taming the menu does not appear when the button is placed in action bars handled by Bartender.

Hi neither the rogue poison nor warlock summon are working
In reply to stellastar88:
This should now be fixed by having an entirely custom flyout independent of the Blizzard function.
In at least retail, the latest version of Bartender ignores the right action bar 4 and right action bar 5 when they are checked in the interface options. This causes the quest tracker and boss frames to be under the Bartender bars on the right side of the screen.
Reverting back to 4.13.5 fixes the problem.
In reply to Squishy_D:
This is intentional and required for Edit Mode to not break stuff constantly, the bars have to be disabled. You can move the quest tracker and unit frames with Edit Mode yourself to where you want them.
In general, these options affecting the UI while the bars are not even visible was quite silly in the past. There is no reason to assume Bartender users still had their bars in the same spot, and there is no link that the blizzard options would affect this.
In reply to nevcairiel:
I'm also suffering from this problem and I cannot find an addon to modify the bag window's location. Currently, bag window covering the Bartender action bars is a major issue, and the buffer given by this "fixed bug" has been perfect. Neither Edit Mode or Bartender will allow that UI element to be moved, and MoveAnything hasn't been updated which prevents it from working with the bag windows.
In reply to nevcairiel:
Damn, thats a shame.
I loved how the Arena/Boss/durability/vehicle seat/Objective tracker/Bags would move to the side (and down depending on arena/boss frames) depending on if i had 0,1 or 2 side bars showing.
And afaik if you move them all, then they lose the nice resizing feature they all have together.
Blizz and their silly edit mode issues.
The UI Bag Bar has it own texture now and I'd like to revert it back to default WoW UI look, but unable to find it in the settings for "Bag Bar" options in BT4. Is it possible to add that option to the addon? Please ;)
In reply to Silverhustle:
Bartender4 sticks to the default UI visuals. You can use something like Masque to obtain other visuals - which includes a "classic" design for the Bag Bar.

In reply to notJ_o_n:
It sounds like your Bartender4 bar that corresponds to this bar is disabled. You can have it enabled and set visibility to "Hide Always", but it needs to be enabled for keybindings to work.
In reply to nevcairiel:
its actually the stance bar you have to set to always hide.. well thats what worked on mine anyway..
Thanks Nevcairel for the MVP of WOW addons.
For anyone getting the LUA errors in combat/raids etc. I suggest you install BugGrabber until there is a final fix. The addon will just hide the huge LUA error panel and allow you to play on.
The newest update seems to have made Bar 3 disappear, and I can't find it anywhere. Edit: Figured it out. For some reason, the update disabled the bar in the addon.
Hey and thanks for this great addon! The new Blizz UI was so bugged and I wanted my good old classic UI back.
Question: When using the classic interface preset, is there a way to get the up and down arrow buttons back that are missing in the bottom center? I know I can have keybinds to change between my main action bar and the other ones but I'm so used to pressing the buttons and now they're gone!
Thanks again. :)

For some mysterious reason Bartender4-4.13.6 moved my tooltip from the bottom-right to the top-left corner of my screen ... why?
If I disable bartender it's where it's supposed to be. Enabling bartender moves it up again.
Bartender4-4.13.5 works fine. Tooltip is where it should be.
Was the option to hide Hotkey text moved somewhere? I cannot find it under the "Button Look" options. It appears that the option to hide the hotkey text on the buttons has been removed. I have made a small change in the source code to attach this functionality to the "Hide Macro Text" under the "Button Look" section of the action bar settings.
In ActionBar.lua, change the following line:
to:
This will hide hotkey text along with macro text if you have this option selected.
In reply to romel:
The removal is just a bug and it will return the next update.
