FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

I was using Dominos and got the sad news that the author won't be updating. I thought I would give this one a try.
I use a Razer Tartarus v2 so if there was a way to create 1 bar w/ 19 buttons that works best for me. (currently, I'm using 1 bar 2x10 and a second bar 1x9). It's workable, but I haven't played my druid yet. Any tips would be appreciated or video recommendations.
The thing I'm actually having an issue with. I move my spells a ton during this time in wow as I get the flow of how my rotation will work. Whenever I drag a spell off the bar, the spell casts. I'm not sure how its doing that. If you pull a spell from the spell book it doesn't cast. Is there a modify key or something I should be using. I did try shift but the spells still cast. Any info would be great.
In reply to Nickyjean01:
There is a setting in Bartender that is doing this. I don't know if this is a new setting or not, but I had the same issue. In Bartender options, click on Bars, then uncheck the checkbox for "Toggle actions on keypress instead of release"
In reply to syeborge:
Thank you that was it. :)

On my characters, the class bars and bars 7-9 are definitely separate bars now. My stealth bar used to be bar 7, but now it's class bar 1 and I'm using bar 7 for other things.
after prepatch, my hunter abilities with dropdown menus don't work (call pet and whatever the other one is called)
Would you please consider making a preset "Modern Art, Pre-DF interface"? Basically position everything the way it was before prepatch came out (especially the action bars), but keep the new artwork?
In reply to Shushudaa:
why, the old artwork is much better
In reply to VulgarAngryToxic:
Sure, I just want old positions, I don't care about artwork tbh. Currently there are only presets for Classic positions, Modern positions and custom stacks. There's none for pre-DF, which is the one that many people want. ^^
In reply to Shushudaa:
Isn't that basically the same layout, just with smaller buttons? I forget how exactly the SL layout looked, as I've been running my own all these years.
In reply to nevcairiel:
It is also shifted. Action bar 1 (and bar 2 that's stacked on bar 1) is shifted to the left and the action bar 3 is set to use 2 rows of 6 icons and is placed to the right, so the combined bars are centered as a whole. The bags and system icons are moved to the bottom right corner of the screen. My pre-DF screenshot shows this, more or less. The icons on the right on my screenshot are slightly shifted downwards with MoveAnything, but they never really changed aside from becoming smaller, afaik.

EDIT:
I've configured Bartender to more or less position the modern icons in this old way, together with the bottom right icons being bigger. I can send you the settings if you want, just let me know what's the best way to export them.
Is there a way to change the size of the hotkey text on the action bars?
In reply to metalmight7:
Not right now, but I might introduce a new option in the future. The reason it shrunk is because Blizzard changed the template for action buttons to be larger - but if you don't increase the size of your Bartender buttons, that means everything else just gets smaller.
In reply to nevcairiel:
Hello. So there is currently no way to make the bars look like before - see the screens: https://postimg.cc/gallery/xk0QVVM
Meaning the design + the font scale and position?
Ty :)
I don't seem to be able to move my Status Tracking Bar (XP Bar).
I can enable the bar, unlock it so it has the green moveable bar, move the bar around the screen.
But when I lock the bars again the XP Bar has not moved, it's stick bottom left of my screen.
I have even moved the green moveable bar to the top of my screen but again when I click lock the XP bar is still bottom left.
All the other bars have moved ok and stay where I want them.
I had no probs before the update of game and addon this morning.
In reply to Eziair:
Apparently other addons are interfering with that, one that was mentioned was Titan Panel. I'll be looking into this in the coming days.
In reply to nevcairiel:
Can confirm - I just saw this comment and disabled Titan Panel. When I logged back in the reputation bar was back where I want it to be.
In reply to nevcairiel:
Yea, I just turned off Titan Panel that I have at the very top of my UI and the XP Bar jumped into place.
Thank you for looking into it.
In reply to nevcairiel:
Spotted a Titan Panel update this morning before jumping into the game.
When I logged on and got in the game I turned Titan Panel back on in UI and the XP Bar stayed put, never moved.
So happy.
In reply to Eziair:
Great, then I don't need to investigate it anymore!
