LDB port of Mecdemort's TimeToDie, with all the cruft removed.
Any chance a focus target and/or ToT setting could be added. As a healer, I would still like some way of knowing how soon the boss will be downed. Thanks.
I think it estimates how long your current target mob/dungeon mob/raid boss will take to die, by calculating the average DPS on it? Im not sure how it WORKS, but I know people use these kinds of addons to help with executes, like a warlock's drain soul, or any other class that always wants to use certain spells or cooldowns when the boss is under 25 percent health, for example.
Addons like these help you guesstimate when/if you should use your execute moves (or if you will even have time to).
You're generally correct, although I'd say that it's more often used to tell if a raid is going to beat an enrage timer, if there is enough time to use heroism, etc.

I think. Feel free to correct me, anyone.
