BuffRemover is an addon that removes unwanted buffs as soon as they are applied.
Examples of unwanted buffs might be Thorns if you are a healer, Shadow of Death if you are a raid tank etc.
The buff names are added using the addon section of the Blizzard configuration.

Hey ... love this addon. One small change request ... can it print a message to the chat frame (configurable channel would be awesome) when it cancels buffs? Would be nice to have the record of the event. Thanks!
I often get hand of protection cast on me for instance when fighing northrend beasts, as it removes all the imaple stacks that are on my character. I was hoping to use this addon to automatically click it off, but I ran into alot of issues.
It seems the settings are not per character? That strikes me as rather bad design. I added all the *intellect buffs to be removed from my warrior, but they are also being removed from my warlock.
It would also be nice if I could set it so it only removes for instance salvation and hand of protection if I'm defensive stance, but leaves it alone in other stances.

as another already mentioned, u should add savedpercharakter settings or some options to set up buffs for each class
Again, thank you for this mod!
I already added "Jack-o'-Lanterned!" and "Mohawked!" to my list. Now when people put the Mr. T or pumpkin heads on me, it's instantly removed.
