Calendar for Broker

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

A conversion of Calendar_Fubar by wish to DataBroker. Shows all events up to 60 days, and colors them by type. Clicking on it will open the Calendar.

This is showing Pilgrim's Bounty as a current event, which it isn't. I installed another calendar mod just to make sure there are no issues with my machine, etc. and the other mod doesn't show Pilgrim's Bounty as happening right now.

Mine is showing some long numbers nest to events, like 5-6 digits. How do I get rid if it?

Could you add an option to hide the "text" of the button in my LDB bar mod? It's extremely large and takes up a lot of room for useless stuff like "Stranglethorn Vale Fishing Contest."

The support for both "us" and "euro" date formats is nice, but the correct date format (as specified by ISO 8601) is YYYY-MM-DD. It would be nice to get this changed :)

Seems like this addon use local time insted game time. Can it be fix, coz all events happy by game time and if local time and game time is different, addon show some wrong info.

Very odd ...

When I login the calendar details shown inside the broker's tooltip are missing. As soon as I check any option inside the settings menu they all are displayed again. Seems you are missing to read some settings when loading?

Same exact problem, no event details show in the tooltip until I open the options menu? Kind of defeats the purpose :) Seems to only be me and 0xF30FC7 reporting this though, maybe a conflict with another AddOn?

The times and dates on german realms are all incorrect. For example the valtentines event at 11th feb 09 at 06:00am was shown at 16th january 70!!! at 01:14pm, all dates and clock times are incorrect.

Sorry for that everyone. It should be resolved in 3.0.25 (apparently Bliz changed when CALENDAR_UPDATE_EVENT_LIST is fired, so it got fired A LOT on character load and caused this addon to recheck the calendar which caused the event to fire...)

This bug has already been reported (and in the comments I might add).
I cannot fix it immediately as I'm not in a place atm that I can work on it. I will work on it tonight when I'm back home.
This should be fixed in beta 25

r23 freezes WoW on the loading screen, only reset helps, pls fix immediately.

Yup, this hangs WoW 3.0.8 for me as well. Was a PITA tracking down - naturally it was in the very last group I re-enabled as part of my troubleshooting. Gah! I was re-enabling 50% of my addons, then 50% more of the remaining, and so on - very useful to save time. No need to do it one-by-one :-)

this just broke for me for 3.0.8. i was freezing on the load screen and after narrowing down 200 addons this was the problem, for me at least. anyone else?
