are you going to update the addon?
i love this adddon to quest with i think its the best addonfor maps, but it doesnt work with the new patch.
pls update.

Is the addon copyrighted, or can someone take it over? This (and it's predecessor) was one of the best addons for the game, hate to see it dry up.

Was the best farming add on ever! If you're not able to update any more then I understand and want to thank you for great add-on and keeping it up for this long.

Ladies, gentlemen and QQers - Read the post for the standard Cartographer. The devs just don't have enough hours in their life to find the motivation to re-work yet another addon. If you want a whine bucket, blame Blizz for never designing their API's and Interfaces with future compatibility in mind, rather than the devs just trying to offer something to make it better for us all. Of course, you could always pay them to do the work ;-)

The add-on devs could easily give out their source material so someone in the community could take over and continue to fix and improve the add-on, if they can't.

Patch 3.3.3 this map is totally dead.
This is the best map mod ever.
Can not find any other with scroll zoom.

It was a very good addon, but it appears it is going the way of Cosmos...only a fond memory...very sad :(

Since the up date of WOW 3.3. when I try to use this map the scale does not work plus the map is now transparent. I use to use this map till now.

This was a good add but it REALLY needs updating as it causes many problems in 3.3.

Love the addon! Worked great in all ways until patch 3.3, now I've noticed two bugs. One is that the map can't be opened or closed in combat. The other is the points of interest in Wintergrasp zone, I can't tell who controls which workshops and I can't see which towers and walls have taken damage or been destroyed. I hope there's a fix on the way 'cause I love this add and can't find another map mod like it!

i love this add on, i still use it but I don't like it when it stops tracking me when i am in combat so i am willing to help update it if anyone else is willing to help

really like it but, if i ahve my map up while running through a zone and accidentally aggro somehitng, i can't close my map, or if i accidentally aggro soemthing and need to look at the map while im mounted but, still in combat i can find myself running for a good time in the wrong dirrection because i can't toggle the map in combat, also on the traditional map when u right click completely out of the lands to see both outland and azeroth you will notice that in the left and right corners 2 images and upon moving your mouse over them, some light effects appear, throughout anywhere on the map these light effects randomly appear and i am unable to drag around my map if the light effects are there, i'm sorry that im complaining, it's just that this is a really good addon that i can't bear to use

THis add looks awesome and i really enjoyed being able to have the map on screen while i was playing. But in Northrend i get errors while flying that make wow crash. Also a big piece of Icecrown is missing on my zoom in screen. So i just disabled Cartographer3.0 and now wow runs smooth. Makes me sad because i really enjoyed this add.

Hmm. It's very sad that the "normal" Cartographer is no more updated. I tryed this addon, but deleted it after a few minutes.
Too much effecty for my taste. I need usable tools and information, no great zoom-in zoom-out effects.

Finally I found an alternity to cartographer, called "Mapster". Small addon, few funktions, but works great and contains everything I need.

Im so there with you, I miss Old Cart, It was soooo much better, easier to use, I mean all the functions are great in this one, but it's too much "stuff" when you need to quickly access something. I keep the add on there but disabled, hoping one day there might be an update, maybe some one willing to take over it or something.

Much more has bugged for me and that goes for all three of my computers that the game is installed on. I really miss Cartographer. I use it religiously for many things. but since the most recent patch the map cords are all screwy and other errors and I had to uninstall it. I'm not a big fan of the new in game map at all and am completely lost now. Someone PLEASE update this awesome add-on

I'm still using the original Cartographer and it works perfectly. I encountered the screwy map co-ords when 3.3 was still in the PTR and I figured out what to do then. Go to your addons page and open up Cartographer and you will see it has many modules. Uncheck (disable) the one that says, "Cartographer Look and Feel." That's the one that's messing up the co-ordinates. It will work fine after that.
