Cartographer 3.0

Table of Contents

This is a map addon for World of Warcraft that replaces the map and offers shiny features.

The idea is for it to work very much like Google Maps, only in-game.

Cartographer 3.0 is brand new, "experimental" version of Cartographer.

Can you make the Mouse3 Button a pan modifier as well as Left Click?

im getting an error when trying to open the configuration. something about the Main.lua

having major issues but i know you are all working on them as i write this.
Very random availability of options in Interface|Addons tab. Only the maps for Outland and BE areas zoom in properly, but ONLY if Cart 3 is the only addon running. As mentioned, Waypoint/Notes Markers not working right. Sometimes can add a note, but can't delete it. I'm hoping that at some point there will be modules as hinted in the options window, as i miner the possible ore locations are invaluable.
Keep up the good work! Wish i could assist but coding is NOT my thing.

I think you've got another mod causing problems. /focus and remove work fine for me.

BUG:

If you target something and go "/focus" you get that target as a focus icon in the lower left side, if you then right click on it to remove it again wow tells you that Cartographer3 has tried to perform an illegal operation, which suggests that you have patched something in an incorrect manner.

Problems adding a notes and waymarkers to the map...see ticket 1026
No arrows pointing the way either. Probably not chosen the best time to try it after the recent patch.
methinks the developers are a tad busy at the moment!!! :)

It was a questhelper bug. It's supposed to be fixed now with the new version of questhelper.

I don't know what people are complaining abuot, I LOVE cartographer 3. The only nitpick I have is that questhelper behaves a bit strangely at times, shrinking the waypoints and stuff too small to see when you're zoomed out.

You use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out now, not click.

The configuration button is very very buggy.
And the right-click to change to the map before doesn't work anymore...
And I can't left-click on a map-area to open the map in full view?

Please added this feature again :(

Cartographer 3's configuration button doesn't work for me--though I can bring up its options via the interface button.

If the creator is making a new cartographer, there's a reason. Be patient until the bugs are worked out.

Type /cartographer. Click on POIs. Scroll to the bottom of the list. Move the slider to the smaller number. Arrow is smaller. Yay.

I don't have a problem with Cart 3. What you need to do is lose the F'ing arrow it's ridiculous. The damn tear drop arrow is bigger then anything on the map and it looks stupid. I admire the courage to make Cartagrapher look like Carbonite but that will never happen. Stick to what works best unless there's a reason for Cart 3.
