Cartographer 3.0

Table of Contents

This is a map addon for World of Warcraft that replaces the map and offers shiny features.

The idea is for it to work very much like Google Maps, only in-game.

Cartographer 3.0 is brand new, "experimental" version of Cartographer.

I added Cart3 to day and have a Global error. Cannot copy error message for some reason... maybe not doing it correctly. help.

so been using Cart v3 for awhile now.. recently came back to wow from a short break and found that when i go into instance wow freezes on me. turned off Cart3 at main page on addon button and i do not have any problems with instances..never had a problem before with use. is it me and is there something i need to change/fix/tweak etc or is this a problem with the actual mod?

I'm sorry, but i do not like the new look of 3.0 at all. I'm going to reinstall old cartographer :/ If you want me to go into detail on what I think is bad about 3.0 (almost everything), just e-mail me or ask here.

Is there a version of cartographer that has scrolling maps? Friends who play on Macs and use Cart. both have this feature, but on my PC, it does not.

Do you mean the feature that the map follows the player around and scrolls to your current position? Try the "P" button on the map.

Can anyone find where to do the following: I want to expand the area in the map corners that you grab to resize the map. I'm frequently grabbing only the top or side and not the corner, and I'd like to increase the corner target area.

Is that available to modify?

Found it. Search for "sizingPoint" in the "main.lua" file and change the four 10's to 20's, or whatever size you like.

I get a conflict with quest helper. It works with out it fine. But when turned on, I can't see the waypoint I create on the Main Map or Mini Map.
is there a way around this? I tried the other version of Cartographer as well

Sorry guys - something got messed up.
I was talking 'bout that _bagnon_ automining (that is a bot, which is bad enough), as well as a trojan (and I have habit to believe my NOD32 on that).
Obviously the post to which I replied was deleted and the comment somehow attached to another post.

NEVER tried to imply that Catrographer is harmful in any way.
Sorry again.

Still the point is actual 'bout downloading what Shadow did - I can't get it no matter when I try :(

You can't release it but you can make a clone of the repo on WoWAce. If you apply the changes to a clone git repo it will increase the odds that Ckknight will be able to find time in his very busy life to look at them and apply them.
