Im not getting any errors or anything like that, but when i right click the map it doesnt go further out of the map. only problem im having with it.

There seems to be problems with the newest version (r44896) of cartographer. Loading cartographer with all other addons disabled, i get no error, but still none of the functions work. Same crap when disabling the plugins too. Going back to 2.1.0 r36223 as it works fine to me.

Yea, this is a classic UI design error. Just move the report button to the other side - or vice versa if you want it prominent.

No offense..but..what does being fat fingered matter? You're clicking..having fat fingers doesn't make you accidentally click the wrong thing.. Weirdo. Even if you're tabbing the bloody links you still don't accidentally hit the wrong button unless you're slightly retarded and forget what's what..

"Fat Fingered" is a common phrase for when someone presses a button near the button they meant to push.

I guess that "swoosh" sound you heard was the joke going over your head.

i have been trying to pull up the cartographer menu to change what it shows but i cant find it anywhere. I have tried doing /cartographer but that doesnt come up with anything. how do i open the cartographer menu? i dont see a icon or anything for it anywhere.

when i go to the map all i see is my normal drop down and no other menu button in there either.

please help

I also use Gatherer but am finding that it doesn't seem to display on my maps. Is there someway to fix that? There are times when my other characters need to see where ore or herbs are located.

Hi, is there anyway that somebody send me something that show all npc, all note of somebody. Like. Im saving all my note and my npc place and then i want to give it to someone then he could have my same note. It is possible?! If yes is there any website that i can download some note and thing like that?!

I think there is a problem/conflict between this addon and Battlefield Commander. I'm aware that I can get this addon to look similar to it (I use both) but I like the narrow look and tiny frame of BFC when I'm exploring the world.

The problems I am having are:

1. The "fog" (uneplored area) is always covered now in BFC since using Cartographer. I can't get it to reveal the area at all. I'm fairly certain that Cartographer did something because BFCs map was fine until I opened Cartographer and toggled to the ALT-M map. I tried checking all of my Cartographer settings but nothing fixed the problem.

2. The author of Battlefield Commander has gone missing in action.

Does anyone here use both of them and have this same problem?

PS: I just discovered that when I log out and back in BFC is fixed, but as soon as I click Cartographer the fog returns and covers BFCs map. Cartographers map remains fine.

Found the answer. Apparently with new patches, the item cache sometimes gets wiped so you have to click on those numbers a couple times or so for the item to show up.

Can't seem to see anything in boss loot all a sudden. Just shows red numbers like [8367] stuff like that. That new patch causin trouble? Thanks for any info.

Firefirealone, when you log into WoW, at the character select screen, on the bottom left is an 'Addons' button. Click on that, look for Cartographer in the list, and mouse over it. It should tell you what dependencies you're missing.

Why cant I make the brownish border of maps in BG's not transparant anymore? For example AV...in the middle is the land...but on the left and right side there is alot brown 'mapfilling' (or whatever) that in earlier versions used to be able to make it transparant. Why isnt that possible anymore?

Guys I'm having a problem. My notes aren't showing up half the time in Cartographer... If I keep opening and closing the map, they MAY show up but this includes personal notes, quest notes, and any other note included. I assume the note system is built-in to Cartographer? Because all I have in my AddOns directory is: - Cartographer - Cartographer_QuestObjectives - Cartographer_Quests

How do you get the share notes feature to work? I have it installed and turned on. When I try to share a note, after I type in the person's name in the box and hit enter the name disappears but the note is not sent. I have also tried grouping and sharing it using the share with group option but that doesn't work either. I am trying to share it with another toon of mine on another account. Both are on line at the same time on seperate cpus and both have the addons updated, installed and running.
