Hi how much longer do we have to wait before you update this addon to work with patch 3.2, as it has been ages since you lats updated addon, it is far much better then Quest Helper which is second best, it just cannot cut unlike Quest Info, so Please Please listen to all of us, and get to work, and uodate this addon, as we all use it, and it is such a very useful addon to have in Wow, we are all lost without it!

Well if you read other peoples comments you would see that i have posted a fix already:

Ok a quick fix for the "'for' limit must be a number " error that worked for me.
For some reason QUESTS_DISPLAYED in blizzards Interface\FrameXML\QuestLogFrame.lua seems to be erased for some unknown reason, I even went down to the nothing apart from cart and it still was nil.

Stick the following line in the file QuestLogPatch.lua.

if not QUESTS_DISPLAYED then QUESTS_DISPLAYED = 6; end

I put mine on the line after
local CQI = Cartographer_QuestInfo

and before the first function.

Hey guys I am not too techy so could someone please do a step by step process of how I fix my cartographer quest info addon? (i have all other 3.2 files installed to game but I do not understand how to do what MightyDude said)

Please note, The Curse Client will say that your using the dev version so ignore that message until the developers update this addon.
Also this is for Cartographer_QuestInfo v3.1.1 (only)

Anyway here are the steps I did.
[Step 1]
OPen up file: "QuestLogPatch.lua" in the "Cartographer_QuestInfo" folder.

[Step 2]
Now on the 7th line of this file you should see the following line:
local CQI = Cartographer_QuestInfo

[Step 3]
Now add the following line after that line:

if not QUESTS_DISPLAYED then QUESTS_DISPLAYED = 6; end

[Step 4]
Now you should see something like the following lines:

local C = Cartographer
local CQI = Cartographer_QuestInfo

if not QUESTS_DISPLAYED then QUESTS_DISPLAYED = 6; end

[Step 5]
Now Save and overwrite this file.

[Step 6]
Done, now play the game.

Made the change that MightyDude suggested, and it worked fine, up until I ran into Dungeon quest loot. The quest "Containment" to kill Cyanigosa gave me the error below. Otherwise, all normal quests and such have been flawless. Any ideas?

That error is a different addon (Cartographer_Notes) and not Cartographer_QuestInfo.

My fix was only for Cartographer_QuestInfo, to add the new island, and has nothing to do with Dungeon "Violet Hold", you will need to post a comment on that addons page.
