[G][Natal][Natal]: test test
hey im new to wowace and was just wondering how questions are answered by the people who make the code for the addons. Been trying to get a custom MP3 sound for a highlight in my whisper channel but havent got any fedback, am i doing something wrong?
I can't see any chat expect for that in my General box on the PTR while running the latest version of Chatter.
Just a heads up, as the thought of going back to Prat fills my soul (and my framerate) with revulsion.
oShit: (1): Interface\AddOns\Chatter\Modules\DelayGMOTD.lua:21: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value)
Can you give me directions on how to put custom MP3 sounds into chatter to use as highlights in order to set it up to have it go off when i get a whisper?
ok major problem here - each time i go to whisper or chat with someone and then try to return focus to me (target) It somehow defaults any of my GM powers (fly, speed..etc) to the last person I spoke to regardless of what commands I throw to return focus to me.
I had a user flying around Stormwind in sheer excitement over the mistake. Is this a bug? or is there a way around having focus LOCKED on the last user whose ticket I serviced?
wow - i love this addon - i am able to copy a single string and paste it where ever - please disregard my QQ lol
I am currently a GM on a server and every once in a while I get a user who creates an account using an extended string consisting of alphanumerical and control key characters. Naturally it is almost impossible to .kick byplayer and I am forced to ban by IP without the benefit of a first offense.
Can your tool simply allow me to interactively highlight the players name(string), copy, and then paste it onto my chat bar? Ideally, it would be nice..if I could some how macro or MID() it into a command string. i.e. .kick byplayer <copy, pasted string in here> 1d "Potty Mouth".
Timing is of the essence when dealing with trouble makers and I am hoping to find a tool that can simply do this without having to minimize >> open logs >> copy >> return to app >> paste >> type some more >> enter.
Thanks ^^
@ Ryderly: Yeah, the reason being that all the versions posted here are alpha releases, I believe chatter only has beta and release level releases pushed to curse. by all means download if you wish, but as with all alphas it may have unforeseen issues.
And my problem is with the edit box. I keep getting this darkened background. When I change ANY of the options under "Edit box polish", it clears up. But as soon as I close the edit box and re-open it, the dark background is back again. =(
Am fully uninstalling Chatter and then freshly installing r228 to see if that helps.
Would like to use yours but I will use Prat for now since it is available there.
Thanks
