ChimaeronHealthPoint
ChimaeronHealthPoint is an addon that will display a listing of all the raid members that are below 10k health during the Chimaeron encounter in Blackwing Descent.
Features
- Movable, lockable, resizeable window
- Displays class colored names of any raider under 10,000 health
- Names are sorted so the lowest health is at the top of the display
- Sits passive until Chimaeron is detected (mouseover or target the boss)
- Disables once the boss is defeated
Slash Commands
/chimaeron
Show/Hide the window (There is also a close button on the window)
/chimaeron lock
Locks/Unlocks the window (There is also a lock icon on the window itself that performs this action)
/chimaeron limit 10
This would limit the number of names displayed in the window to 10. Acceptable numbers are between 1 and 25 inclusive. The default value is 10.
/chimaeron standby
This will put the addon back into "passive" mode (i.e. only checking targets and mouseovers to see if it needs to show the display and register the health updates)
/chimaeron force 50000
This command would put the health threshold at 50,000, show the display and start listening to health updates. Any number can be used as the force threshold. Closing the display will return the addon to whatever state it was in before it was forced open.
/chimaeron disable
Disables the addon, it will not register events or show during the fight
/chimaeron enable
Enables the addon if it had been disabled.

Yeah the DBM comment was just to answer mysticalos post. It's all good, good luck with it. For what it does it seems like a great addon :)
This addon is likely superfluous fluff for the top 5-10% of raiders (maybe even the top 15%), but it is not designed for those guilds. Nor is this addon really designed for the Heroic version of the fight. I wrote this for two reasons, I wanted a quick view of the health levels without looking at my raid frames as a melee DPS raid leader. Secondly to help my healers, who were leaving people low before a Massacre cast. The addon fulfilled both needs. Whether or not other people find it helpful is their decision. I've made it available; if it gets 200 downloads total, that is fine. If it gets over 20,000 then I'm glad I made something that helped guild see Cataclysm content more easily.
Hopefully this debate is over, creepy_inc, you've made it clear you don't find this addon helpful at all. That's cool, let others try it out instead of trying to discourage them. Also, this isn't the place to discuss the merits of DBM default settings. :P
Yeah he added that option in DBM and it's enabled by default, really annoying. We can of course just turn it off as stated before all it is is a distraction. you already have DBM etc. marking people and should already see the low health debuff on your raid frames. Do you really need extra sources telling you same info?
All I'm saying for those that consider downloading this is, consider if this addon is actually going to help you with anything or just be a distraction. I guess maybe for a raid leader this could in theory be helpful, I say in theory because as a raid leader I would imagine you already had some sort of informational unit/raid frames. Again by the time you look at it and identify the person and start casting your target is probably dead. (speaking healer PoV here).
I said what i wanted, if people love this by all means go for it :)
you actually posted this addon after we added same feature into dbm alpha cause it was popular back in black temple days for the bubble popping. :) it's a feature i happened to like and i like that you made a stand alone addon for it for all those who might be using bigwigs or raidwatch :) Sure you can just add low health debuff to grid or something but an overall monitor is just a nice raid check at a glance without scanning over your raid frames.
Fair enough, don't get me wrong I appreciate the work put into this just wasn't sure if there was any good use for this. heroic mode you're screwed if you get distracted, from my experience anyways.
I can't speak for Heroic mode since my guild isn't there yet. However my healers requested this addon to help them out, so I wrote it and thought others might like this. Maybe not healers with other raid frames or healing tools available. But maybe a raid leader could use it while learning the fight to see if people are staying at low health for a long time or if one or two specific people are low right before a Massacre.
Certain unit/raid frames provide plugins to make 10k the "max" value or indicate when somebody is over 10k, I have no idea if my healers use those, if they do not and only see health percents then this addon probably helps them. At the very least knowing the information is easily and succinctly available might just give them a feeling of safety.
I know I can just chose to not use/Dl this but I'm curious what real purpose this addon will serve?
If the information matters to you, then you will already see this on your grid or other unit frames you use. You will not have time to look at this frame, identify who it is, making a call, react and heal it. The target will most likely just be dead :D
I would almost go as far as saying this mod could be a bad thing for your raid on heroic mode because it could distract you from your real (important) assignment. Hey maybe I just miss the useful points of this and that all good, enlighten me :)
Atramedes and Cho'gal you can actually do something with the information.
