ClassTimer
Deprecation Notice: If possible, please use WeakAuras instead, this addon is no longer maintained
This is an addon to create timers for your own buffs and debuffs.
General
player bars on left, target in middle, focus on right, all can be moved
To track CC Effects you must set the CCed mob as your focus if its not your target.
Only icons and time can be shown if you don't want bars.
The text can be customized in the options by using, "%s for spell name", "%a for applications", "%u for unit name eg target or player", "%n for mob name"
This mod is set up with AceLocale so anyone who wants to add other locals feel free :)
If you want other textures for the bars, get the AddOn SharedMedia.
Note: When adding values in the files, double parentheses are necessary on the last item in a table because it contains all the values from the function call and we only want the first one.
Options
/classtimer or the LDB Launcher
Credits
Must give Nymbia credits as he is a legend!
Thanks for the awesome work!
Another thing would probabaly be trinkets for pvp unless they are already added.
Is there an option to see your targets cooldowns if we were to pvp?
I know that some add on's can detect when a skill is used and a trinket is used so would it be possible or is it already added in?
First of all tyvm for one of the best addons iv evah seen in my life. As a feral druid im happy to see our dps beeing so nice now in patch 3.1. But iv notised a small thing I would realy like to see changed/fix, currently we have a glyph that every time we use shred while rip is up gives us 2 ekstra sec every time we shred (up to 6sec in all)on our rip timer. I was wondering if it was possible to add a small number inside the rip bar like (1) (2) (3) for how many shreds we use on our current rip to extend it. I know the rip timer currently updates its timer when using shred and thats realy nice to but if you could add this function I would be very happy.
Death knight's Ghoul Frenzy on pet would be very nice to be able to track.
It tracks my debuffs on a target, but when someone does the same debuff, cancels mine out. For example, the scorch debuff mages do. I would like an option where if another mage casts the scorch debuff, instead of my timer disappearing, it just refreshes it. So something like a check box that i can put next to a spell saying track others to or something like that? Only thing i can think of that would make this mod rock even more.
thank you for reply.
Fury Of The Five Flights (trinket proc), the old version supported it
The Blood Of Old God (also trinket proc)
one thing I've noticed missing for warriors is when Victory Rush comes available I get no buff showing it with a timer, would be wonderful if you could add that :)
Thanks
Can ClassTimer also track a buff/debuff if it is refreshed by another player? For example, Hunters can overwrite each others' Hunters Mark. If I put one up, ClassTimer tracks it fine. If another hunter puts his up, overwriting mine, ClassTimer stops tracking it. It would be nice to have a "Track Only Mine" or "Track Any" option for buffs/debuffs, at least on the target.
I have a feature request:
I am a Holy priest with Shadow as my dual spec. I've created a "Healing" and "Damage" Profile, set up through the /classtimer Profiles menu. I would absolutely love the ability to swap profiles via an LDB addon.
There exists an LDB addon with 1-click talent-spec swap
http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/swapspec.aspx
something like this for ClassTimer would be a huge quality of life improvement.
Thanks so much!
thanks a lot for this addon, it's very useful,
but I'd like to ask you to add an option (if it's possible ofc)
I would like to keep the position of the timers within the group during a combat
namely, if I chose the downward sorting of the timers and I cast the following sequence on the target "Haunt - CoA - Corruption - UA", I want the Haunt timer always be the 1st during this combat, CoA - 2nd, Corruption - 3rd and so on.
The reason to ask for this is that there're talents that make some spells renew some DoT effects from time to time, so a DoT timer jumping back and forth makes things a little bit chaotic.
I will much appreciate if you could introduce this function.
Thanks again.
Really like the addon. I would like to know though, as a mage, if it is possible to add timers for how long portals will stay open and also how long Ritual of Refreshment will remain active. I've tried adding these through custom timers with no luck. I've also tried editing the Mage.lua to add in these spells, also with no luck. Thanks.
