What it does
Provides methods for determining which mini-pets and mounts you are missing.
Where to get it
- WowAce - Development stage
- Curse - Stable release
- WoWInterface - Stable release
How to get it to work
Open up your companion window (pets or mounts) and click the scan button. This will open up another window which will allow you to see which companions you are missing, along with how to acquire them.

Collectinator: Error: Pet with ID 103588 not in database.
Hiya, just started using this yesterday and I'm wondering if I am doing something wrong?
When I try to add a pet to the map and/or mini map it doesn't show up? All I do is follow the instructions given (ctrl+shift+click) but I can't make it work? Hope you can point me in the right direction :)
After newest update still pops:
19:15:21 Collectinator: Error: Pet with ID 98736 not in database.
there was an update right after it
Thanks for all your mods - I use ARL frequently and Collectinator frequently! However, I'd like to request the same kind of management of Titles and (maybe) Tabards? I see the link to Tabard Addict which will probably suffice, as much as I'd like to have it all in one mod, but at the moment I don't see any mods that track Titles as this mod does Mounts and Companions, so I'd think that would be the more imperative request. I saw some of the WoWAce remarkes/requests but if I recall correctly the last one about these issues was dicussed sometime the past April. Thanks again!
Pet ID 98736 just released last night. Not in the database yet (understandably), but figured I'd post. Thanks!
Also would like the whelp mounts and other pre cata pets updated with their new drops.
If you can file a ticket on the project page of this addon with it detailed with which collectable and wowhead link and how it drops, that would help.
Thanks for this add on. Works perfect for me. Have had no probs with it besides the 2 errors that others say below about the database unknowns.
You can grab the latest release.
Added.
Tabard support of some sort would be great too for us absent minded folks.
I would check out http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/tabard-addict , don't know if and when it will be in Collectinator.
The two new Hallow's End pets are not yet in the Collectinator database.
Pet with ID# 100684 and 100330.
Check out the latest version.
When i open up my spellbook, i get the 5 options - spellbook - professions - pet - mount - companions.
However when i hover over the tabs it says spellbook (shows spellbook) - Professiosn (shows professions) - Pet (shows how many mounts i have??) - Mount (shows how many companion pets i have??) - companions (shows companions).
Where i have put something in brackets, this is what i get when hovering over that specific tab with my mouse pointer.
As i say i am not sure if it is this add-on or another that lists how many one has, since i have had to re-install all add-ons after a crash when loading up wow (it wiped all my add-on data settings out, 3 times) after 3 crash's. After installing all add-ons i have had this happen?
For characters that do not have a pet its fine, for characters that do (hunters, frost mage, warlocks) the Pet tab is moved in, however the info does not move when this new tab is placed, so you get the wrong info showing.
I have dismissed my pets and the Pet tab vanish's and everything is shown correctly, if i bring up my summoned pet then the 3 tabs become asqiff.
All i can say is when one has their pet out, you get an extra Tab header called (pet) placed in your spellbook and abilities tab. The pet tab appears between Professions and mounts tabs. It appears that when this is there, the info does not move across with the repositioning of the mounts and companions tabs.
