Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Shows Status Bars that you can drag around and group up for your cooldowns, including abilities, items and your pet abilities.

digmouse's note:
I've been fan of CDT2 for years and already doing localization work for it since early BC. Speedy and sorren AFW, and I've done some maintainance for it when 2.4 hits. 3.0 and LK goes live and I played a while without it but actually found nothing better than it... even CDT3 which I took some part in its early days. So I tried, and it works. Thank god to Sorren and speedy's fantastic work. I dont want it die, so, my decision is taking over it with some implementation and fixes within my poor limited coding ability. I need any good reports and information, but not ideas for now since it may be beyond my current lua coding skill.

A TODO list:
-Make some clean up.
-Use Babble and SpellID to make it less translation-dependable
-Actionbar cooldown indication and pulse.

Known Issue:
-DB error on deleting certain cooldown groups.
-Not working properly for Death Knights.

CDT2 is currently available in enUS, zhCN, zhTW, deDE and koKR. esES, frFR ,ruRU and esMX are widely needed.

Ive noticed an issue with cooldowntimers 2. If i make a macro containing the troll racial Berserking together with others, like arcane power, mirror image and icy veins. Then it will frequently cause many of the included cooldowns to not have a cooldown bar at all, even if enabled. Sometimes it works as expected, showing the cds for Berserking, Mirror Image, Icy Veins and Arcane Power as soon i hit it, other times it might only show arcane power. The issue went away once i disabled the timer for berserking in the addon. Seems like the addon have trouble with this racial. I can live without listing berseking as it has same cd as mirror image and they are cast together.

Any news about a new version? Would be nice if the crash bug could be fixed, so it doesnt suddenly stop working.

Can't find any settings for the pet bar, trying to get it disabled. It's locked and don't know how to unlock it w/out it having any settings =/

Got every pet cooldown into CTD group, deleted the group and made a new one, guess that's one way to do it.

Well through some miracle the Pet group appeared in the interface. Now where the heck do I find the pet skills to assign them to a group? Do I even make any sense anymore...

Just thought I'd say that this AddOn doesn't work if Lunar Sphere is also enabled.

The conflict also appears causes CDT2 to not populate a list of skills as "skill cooldowns" in the menu is empty.

Holy Shock is completely ignored as a spell with a cooldown.

I checked the code and the only thing I can guess is that in PopulateCooldowns() it's looking at CDTTooltipTextRight2 and CDTTooltipTextRight3 for the cooldown text, but Holy Shock has two range descriptor in those slots (friendly and hostile range). The '6 second cooldown' text is one line further down.

Just a hunch though as my AddOn Fu is weak.

I quite like cooldown timers, but it seems unstable. Ocassionally after some hours the mod crashes and becomes nonfunctional. Reloadui doesnt work, only by shutting down WoW and reloading, it is fixed. Possible memmory leak in the mod?

A bug. Addon stop showing cooldowns for abilites after switching spec. To example, rogue kick cooldown will be shown correctly after log in, but after switching spec will stop showing. VERY annonying. Is it really hard to fix this bug? Make a posibility for mod to "reload" itself (i m noob in lua, but if it's to example events - resubscribe to all of them) is a compromise, i can afford click something every time i switch spec, but not to relog every time i switch spec. Thanks.

A bug. I made a custom group "Totems", put there cooldowns for my totems (grounding, stoneclaw, earthbinding and fire nova). Now if I switch to my second spec the bar is not shown up anymore for some totems (to ex, for groudning, while for others is still working). Same with Riptide cooldown (and custom group for it). It's annoying to relog after every spec switch(reloadui doesn't helps). This bug pursuing me for last half-year (with CDT3), I hope it is possible to fix in CDT2 which looks not as dead as CDT3 =D

Really would like to know how to completely disable item cooldown tracking. Everytime I use a new item it pops up with a CD bar for it. I do not want that.

That'll be up to digimouse. I'm too busy with other addons and real life to be able to make any major changes, and the codebase has changed quite a bit since I last worked on this project.

Is there any lightweight replacement for this addon with the same feature, that pulses a timer bar if you try to cast the spell again while it is still on cooldown?
