Cryolysis 3

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

About

Cryolysis 3 is sphere mod for all classes that saves you action bar space by offering you buttons for many common tasks and provides for an easy to use interface for casting spells. Cryolysis provides you with circular buttons that surround an larger center sphere. The buttons vary per class, but all classes have 3 custom buttons they can add whatever spells they wish to.

Cryolysis also comes with a full configuration menu that can be accessed by right-clicking the main center sphere, or by typing /cryo3 in chat.

Cryolysis 3 will feature support for all classes. Listed below is the status of each class module:

Druid: Not started
Hunter: Not started
Mage: Beta
Paladin: Started
Priest: Pre-Alpha

Warrior: Not started

Missing Features From Cryolysis 2

These features are functions from Cryo2 that were deemed non-critical, so they are scheduled to be re-added later.

Polymorph break warning
Random messages (to be available as a separate module)
Ritual of Refreshment's Mana Biscuits overriding highest rank of food available

Removed/Obsolete Features

These features have been deemed obsolete, or simply not worth the effort. They will not be re-added (though anybody capable enough is welcome to add them back themselves).

Middle click to trade food/water. Ritual of Refreshment cast has now been moved to Middle click (was Shift-click in Cryo2).
The ability to conjure lower level Mana Gems through the Mana Gem menu. The Mana Gem button is now just a button to conjure and use the highest rank of Conjure Mana Gem.

That's really odd. The spell -is- in your spell list, yet somehow button creation fails.

I'll do some pondering, and make some attempts which will be in the next beta.

As for what the next beta will contain, I've been alerted to a problem that would prevent all talent-based spells (such as Ice Barrier, Combustion, etc) from functioning properly.
I'll fix this when I next have time.

as of beta 11 there still isnt shown the dalaran int/brilliance in the mage buff menu :(
or i just missed the option to toggle between normal intbuff und dalaran int

I just tagged beta11, which fixes all errors described in the comments here.
I also detected that there was a problem with the cache code, which caused the "format argument #4" error.

Both these problems have been fixed for good, and the addon has now been tested with a clean cache (such as what will happen next time Blizzard releases a patch).

new version is awesome can you put a cooldown check mark when spells are selected on custom buttons that is all i need. to everyone else having problems try using wow matrix to keep other mods up to date. quitte looks like you are having a conflict i would try deselecting mods 1 at a time. jesusfreak1 get latest version and everything should work keep in mind when you learn new spells to /reload while in game that will change things like food and mana gem when you learn new abilities in game.

3.0-beta9 was working. Once I learned all 77 spells I'm missing buttons on cryolysis. My buff and port buttons missing. Plus about half of the others. I installed 8.1 again and then they are back but pie doesn’t work.

nope sphere still doesnt show cool downs i use this so i can keep a eye on the action but still see when ice barrier icy veins/ice block are up. i tried creating macros that show tooltips they all work in stock ui but dont show the cool down on the sphere will donate a more modest $10 for it.

is there anyway to show cooldowns on buttons love mod everything works for me although i am still catching up and now currently only 66. when i pvp and pve it would be useful for me to see my water ele ice barrier cooldowns on custom buttons. previous versions had spell timer button i dont see that now though i tried setting macro with show tooltip and it didnt work.

I got tired of waiting for this, so I created a new addon called SpeakinSpell to serve that purpose. It's configurable for any class, any spell, any ability, any item, and any procced effect like hot streak... if you miss the random speeches feature of Cryolysis2 as much as I did, then check out SpeakinSpell.

Hi Guys,
for some reason, the new version screwed the "Ice Barrier" spell again. It's missing from the Buff button.
