Cryolysis
*Notice*
Due to changes implemented in the 1.12->2.0 patch, the Mana Gem button is incapable of working as it used to. Unfortunately, it is no longer possible for the button to conjure the highest Mana Gem that isn't in your inventory, nor will it ever be possible again (unless Blizzard gives us a new way to do things). We are aware of, and apologize for, the inconvenience that this causes. We ask for your patience regarding this matter. Thank you.

This addon is slowly a must for a mage I recon. Amazing work you doing here friend! Thanks! Though I have no mage at the moment I will definitelly using this baby later on...
/whisper/ make sure you do the shield and ice/fire ward counting somehow :D Would be the cherry on your cake. :)
Hey, great mod, but one thing missing to make it my all-in-one mage mod.
-Equipment swaping for evoc./drinking
See Quanjure mod for the functionability that I think would be great... like weapon, off-hand and wand swaping. If you could add this feature, this mod would eliminate yet another mod. Thanks for reading and for making a great mod.
hi have prob with the new version cry 1.2.7 Config menue can i see the buttons not the text. cryolis self not at screen 1.2.5 works with self ui. khaos say cryolis 1.2.7 is loaded. use i the patch from ui mod listing website then have i see cryolis but message : loadet einstellungen run thrue chatwindow have screen shots make whenn you will can i send too you soory for my englisch can better german write.
Meh I'm going to just have to look through it again
@Adriella: well the thing is is that a while back i got the mod author to allow Cryo's main button to use a mod called Sheepsafe (if the user has it) instead of the regular polymorph ability for the main button. I'm asking for the same thing you're suggesting except within Sheepsafe. thanks for the help tho :P
@Darklyte64: i assume this is what you're looking for. i searched for pig and turtle and this function was the only one with anything relevant containing both of those.
function sheepSafe.Command(args)
thats it, right?
Firmware: Find me the function command in sheepsafe that does what it is you are requesting. it should be something like function xxxxxx(arg1) or something
@Firmware: There is already a macro that you can make that will randomly cast poly sheep, pig or turtle. /cryo poly
hey man, grats on Serenity and Cryo! From what I hear Serenity is a huge hit :D and i know from first-hand experience that Cryo is the single best mage mod out there! w00t
i was the one you adjusted Cryo for so Sheepsafe could be used instead of the regular polymorph, and i have a question for you. I recently dinged 60 and got my polymorph: pig (yay) and this feature is included in Sheepsafe thru the command /sheepsafe pig. I know there are some mods out there that randomize whether you sheep or whether you poly:piggy. Would it be possible to incorporate this into Cryo since polymorph is already in there? just add a line so either polymorph pig or sheep is used? maybe even check somehow if the user has poly: turtle, pig, and regular poly, then depending on that, choose one at random, then cast that poly? if this is too difficult, no big deal :) i wanted to ask tho. reason i'm posting here is i cant logon to the new wow forums for some reason.
Can you add future wich will reequip weapons for more evocation effectiveness/
PoM as well as many other issues will be fixed and uploaded within a few days
When i use PoM i dont want the cooldown to start until i've used PoM, right now when i use PoM i get the counter to move at once even tho i didn't use the spell for anything.
Can you in anyway fix it?, would be very cool :D
@PoWMan: My code is based off of Necrosis, as stated in many places in my documentation. Arcanum is based off of necrosis as well, though credit is not given. In addition, there are large sections of code in Arcanum that are taken from Cryolysis. Arcanum is a very nice mod from the original, however, and Lenny has some good work with it.
but why did you just ninja arcanum =/ shows litle respect to the original creater.
@Nergl: No offence but the reason why I changed from Arcanum to Cryolysis is because I DID NOT WANT many buff-buttons with 2 spells in them. I love the way the spell menu is set up in Cryolysis. If you prefer the way buff-buttons are set up in Arcanum, maybe you should use it instead of trying to get the creator of Cryolysis to change his mod to be more like Arcanum?
Well, my edit to my post below didn't work, so here it is again:
I've put in the mana gem functionality talked about into 1.2.5, lua file is at:
http://www.lim.com.au/wow/Cryolysis.lua
The option "weakest" mana gem first corresponds to highest level of mana gem which will not waste any mana
The option "strongest" mana gem first corresponds to lowest level of mana gem that guarantees full mana.
There's also a Control->Alt key change that I made due to how some other UI addons conflict.
Could Cryolysis adjust the rank of mana gem used so that nothing is wasted?
ie. if I am down 500 mana from maximum, it shouldn't try and use Mana Ruby if Agate/Jade is around.
What would be nice is if the "Use this mana gem first" option because:
1. Use highest level of mana gem that causes no possible wastage. ie. the highest level of mana gem where UnitMaxMana("player") - UnitMana("player") > MaximumManaFromGem
2. Use the highest level of mana gem that guarantees full mana, but no higher. ie. the lowest level of mana gem where UnitMaxMana("player") - UnitMana("player") >MinimumManaFromGem
I hacked this into an older version of Cryolysis for myself, hooked in UNIT_MANA and verified arg1 == "player" before updating; but I must have messed up, or something in cryolysis has changed.
Just would be nice for this functionality to make it out to everyone
Hi, i have been trying to customize some things myself, but the lua files are chinese to me ;> So i'll ask you to do it instead
I like the amount of functions more than the same-type Arcanum add-on, but some of the arcanum functions are easier to use than the Cryo ones.
It has a few icons with little buffs under it, of which right-clicking opens the menu, and the icon on your circle changes in the last used spell's icon. Left-clicking the icon on the circle will then use the spell from that mini-menu you've last used.
Some possible menus are: - Ice Armor / Mage Armor - Arcane Intellect / Arcane Brilliance - Dampen magic / Amplify Magic - Frost Ward / Fire Ward
Multiple menus with little buffs > 1 menu with like, 20 buttons in it, no?
Could you make the buttons like this: - Food: Right=Conjure, Left=Use - Water: Right=Conjure, Left=Use - Gems: Right=Conjure, Left=Use - Intellect: Right=pop-up with both, Left=Use last used one - Wards: Right=pop-up with both, Left=Use last used one - Armors: Right=pop-up with both, Left=Use last used one - Amplify/Dampen: Right=pop-up with both, Left=Use last used one - Portals: Right=pop-up with all, Left=Use last used one - Singletype one: Left=Use, configurable in options (sheep, pig, slow fall, evoc, etc) - Singletype two: Left=Use, configurable in options (sheep, pig, slow fall, evoc, etc)
Thanks for your time
For user friendlyness, could you also:
- Add a healthstones button? (1440/1320/1200)
- Make it choosable whether right/left clicking opens the menu or uses the spell (I'm used to Right: opens menu, left: uses last chosen spell. While Cryo is the other way around)
- Make it choosable which buffs you want to see under the buff button, to make the pop-up choosing row smaller (in case you reject the button suggestions made above)
- Give an option to show timers as "<Minutes>:<Seconds>" as well as "<Minutes>" (when above 1 minute) and "<Seconds>" (when 1 minute or below, counting down from 60 to 0) to avoid the timer going outside the button graphics (like managems do now)
- Make buff icons adapt to the last used buff in that pop-up menu
- Choosable how many water/food you want to hand out and make this option enable/disable-able? (Most people trade for 40 water, and not 20food/20water)
If I have both my 60% horse and 100% horse in my inventory the addon prioritises the slower horse. Is this because of position in inventory (it just finds first mount and goes with that)? Also if you need to test AQ mount functionality in dev I'm happy to lend a hand
First off, awesome mod. The newest version is fantastic. But...
Something screwy happens when you have a couple different UI mods + Cryolosis. Every now and then when I mouse over the Cryolosis buttons it gives me crazy info and/or the buttons magicaly reassign them selves to different spells.
The only way to fix the bug is to /console reloadui
Possible Culprits: SuperInspect, Discord Action Bars, Discord Unit Frames
Just wanted to say thank you for an awesome mod. =]
