CtA_Hawk
CtA_Hawk monitors the new Call To Arms feature that was added in patch 4.1. With this mod, you can be alerted when CtA rewards are being offered for the role or roles of your choosing. The alert can come in the form of a chat message or be displayed in the middle of the screen. A sound can also be played to really get your attention (or scare the crap out of you as the case may be).
You can even set the mod to automatically add you to the queue when CtA rewards become available.
If you have an LDB-compatible display, you can keep an eye on CtA status in between alerts and you have easy click access to the LFD tool, the CtA_Hawk configuration options and a Control+Click will add you to the LFD queue.
Great addon, works really well - however can get annoying. Is there a config for it where I can change settings?
It should be listed in the AddOns tab on the Interface options window. There are a couple of issues I'm working on and I hope to have an update soon.
I haven't yet reached 90 to test it. I will investigate as soon as I can.
Sorry for the delay. Updated to support 5.0.x.
Great addon. Will you update it for 5.0.4?
I play a level 85 healer, geared enough to do Hour of Twilight.
I want it to auto queue when the satchel of exotic mysteries is available.
I don't care what I queue for, normal cata, heroic cata, or hour of twilight. I just want to farm satchels.
I'd also like it to have the auto queue setting on permanently, but disable addon notifications and such when I'm already in a group of any kind.
How do I set the addon to do this?
Got a question here - What's the difference between "Rare" / "Uncommon" / "Plentiful".
Surely it should just announce whenever CTA is active, no?
Rare, Uncommon and Plentiful are the statuses of a given role reported by the game. I exposed them because I like being able to see the standings even if there is no reward offered.
Currently there are only rewards for Random Cataclysm Heroic and Random Hour of Twilight Heroic and only when the status for a role reaches "Rare". So if you only care about whether there's a bag available, just set it to monitor those two groups and to notify only when "Rare".

Thanks for the feedback. I'll look into that.- Should be fixed now and even alerts can be suppressed via an option now.Turning on auto-queue causes me to queue while in a group. I imagine this would be a major deal-breaker for Tanks/Healers constantly re-queueing. Maybe disable this function while grouped?
