Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Due to 3.3's release and new group finder / random heroic features, I am discontinuing this addon and have no plans to continue development in the future. *

An addon which uses AceComm background communication to inform others with the addon of today's dailies.

To use, click the blue exclamation point icon that is on your minimap, or type "/dqv show" into the chat box. Note that until there is a strong community using the addon on your server, quests will still show up as "unknown".

Here i updated the german localisation files to WotLK.
So you can make an Update for that.

quests seem to work as far as i can see.

Hi there, im from germany and therefore i'm using the german localized version.
But it seems, that the addon is somehow broken.
When im in Front of the horde PVP guy, and i accept the daily pvp quest, it does not show up in the addon.

Also the Languages seem to be messed up.
Under the profession tabs its reading "Dalaran Cooking" but Daily Kochen"
So the dalaran one is enlish and the "daily" is translated to german.

In all tabs it reads (Unknown) for each quest.

Even if i click refresh or clear.

I hope you could help me.
I really like the idea of the addon.

the dalaran normal that does not show up was "eternal agents" (COT4) and "Call to arms: strand of the ancients.

But of course i mean their german localisations.

Unforutnately, besides the English one, none of the localizations currently support Wrath of the Lich King.

It seems i've Found the problem.
The localisation files for german lanuage seem to have not been updated for long, as there are no categories for WotLK daylies or Cooking or Fishing quests in it.
It looks completely different than the enUS version.
Shall i support you with the german Translations of the quest titles?

The Revision of the ENUS file is: $Revision: 77 $
and the one from the german file is: $Revision: 57 $

Im already working on the correct translations for the file.
i Think i'll be done by tomorrow.

Is there any way to add a section for the daily fishing quest in Shattrah? Lots of people are after the baby croc pets and it would save a trip to shat to check it every day just to see if it's the "Crocs in the city" quest.

Hello, I wanted to give a heads up that I contacted WoWInsider, describing your addon and asking them if they would do a full review of it on their Addons Spotlight blog so that more people would start using it (so it works better). It looks like they decided to go ahead and do it so I hope it really picks up now :-)

I would love to see the Burning Crusade Fishing quest added. If it was, I would use this mod.

My reasoning: a level 80 who still needs the fishing vanity pets, must drop down to Shat to check on the quest. Once they've done this, they must use their hearth to get back to Dalaran, if the quest isn't available, or even to turn in the quest.

By adding the Burning Crusade fishing daily, you would save hearths for people all around the Azeroth.

I hope you consider my request.

The Burning Crusade dailies should all be included, including the fishing one. If you click on the "TBC" button off to the left of the window you should see the old Burning Crusade dailies.

OH MY GOD! I didn't see it there at all. I had the window on the far left side of the window and of course I couldn't see it!

Those buttons off the left aren't on the top layer. My Pitbull is in front of them aswell. Maybe there is an easy way to move them to the top or intergrate them into the main window?

I really enjoy this mod.

I do feel like it would be stronger if it had a better cache system. I mean I log in and do my own Fishing daily, log out, log in again later and it has forgotten that I myself did that quest.

I'd like if it cached both my own Daily Quests and those that I receive from third parties all day.

The add-on does not recognize the Dalaran fishing quest, even if I accept the quest from the quest giver. Good idea, otherwise...just needs more people to get a critical mass.

Do you remember what the daily was that wasn't found? I know at least some of the fishing quests work, but it's impossible to test them all and still get a timely release done.

yes, to me, te Jewel Quest not pass to other people. I see it in the addon but other people not recibe it.

I've noticed that, while this picks up most of the quests just fine, it never recognizes the Daily JC, despite the fact that I collect and complete it... well, daily.

Are there any specific JC dailies that are acting up? I'm getting the "Intricate Bone Figurine" one just fine on my server, so it's not an issue with the category itself.

I did find that the Wicked Sun Brooch daily was spelled incorrectly so that one specifically wouldn't get picked up. That's now corrected in the latest version (90076)

Unfortunately I don't have any jewelcrafters, so I can't really test these quests out.
