Decursive key benefits
Ease of use:
- Decursive supports all classes with cleansing abilities and configures itself automatically, it works straight out of the box, no configuration is required.
- Intuitive interface and detailed options, Decursive is suitable for simple usage and power users.
Control what and who you want to dispel:
- Easily Filter out afflictions you don't want to cure or that are useless to remove by class (some are pre-configured). (Such as afflictions affecting mana on non-mana classes, etc...).
- Choose between what you can dispel (magic, curses, poison, diseases, charms) choosing their priority. (this allows you to share the cleansing work with other players effectively)
- Prioritize or exclude members. (keep players, classes, or raid groups in a specific order to cleanse them in order of importance)
Manage Mind controlled units:
- If you are a Mage, a Druid or a Shaman you can Polymorph/Cyclone/Hex mind-controlled players.
- In any case Decursive will allow you to target mind controlled units easily.
- Decursive supports magic charming affect removal for Shamans (Purge and Hex), Priests (Dispel Magic), Hunters (Tranquilizing Shot), and Warlocks (Fellhunter and Doomguards spells).
Don't waste time:
- Your cleansing spell Cooldown is displayed to maximize your dispel speed.
- An automatic blacklist will prevent you from loosing time on players who can't be dispelled. (player 'out of line of sight' for example).
- Decursive choose a logical cleansing order depending on your current position in the raid. (preventing dispel concurrence between players and thus 'nothing to dispel' messages)
React faster:
- Visual and/or auditive alerts when someone needs your attention and can be dispelled.
- Special sound alert when Unstable Affliction is detected and you're about to dispel it.
- Visual and auditive alert when your dispel attempts are resisted or fail.
Integration in any interface:
- Decursive is designed to save screen real estate and to be forgotten when not needed.
- Many options allow you to customize Decursive appearance and interface behavior.
- All Decursive alert colors can be modified making it suitable for color-blind people.
Highly optimized and effective coding:
- Decursive was developed with memory and CPU usage in mind, installing Decursive won't affect your frame rate even in the worst battle conditions.
- Bug free: bugs are not tolerated in Decursive.
In brief, what you get with Decursive is effectiveness, a player using Decursive will always dispel faster than other players.

The version you've posted below (http://www.2072productions.com/?to=decursive.php) has fixed the error I was getting (same one everyone else was reporting).
You rock, thank you.
the bug should be fixed, can someone please confirm, I cannot test anything, the european servers are down for patching...

@Tuhljin:
Try clicking on the "A" in the top right corner of the option window and move the anchor and also click the ^ and V button next to "Anchor".
@ Those who have the lua error:
if you don't help me, since I CANNOT reproduce this bug, this bug won't be fixed... :/ so PLEASE DOWNLOAD DECURSIVE ON ITS WEBSITE:

and tell me if it's working or not. Thank you very much. (it's 4:20 AM in France)
Ah, I didn't see that. Or rather, I didn't understand that is what you meant by it. I'm trying it now. I must say I'm happy to see a lot of the improvements to positioning (which way the live-list and text-anchor messages display, etc.). I'm wondering though, when I hit the decurse key I have bound I don't get the "Nothing removed" message in the window, only in the chat log (unless I turn "Print messages in default chat" off). I have "Print messages in the window" enabled and also tried disabling it just in case.
if you are using 1.9.8 RC1, can you give me the content of the following file: \World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\_YOUR_ACCOUNT_NAME_\_YOUR_SERVER_NAME_\_YOUR_CHARACTER_NAME_\SavedVariables\Decursive.lua it's the saved variable file for decursive, there is nothing private in it.

TO GET rid of this bug just uncheck the option "Print messages in default chat"@Tuhljin: LINE 31 of readme.txt:
/dcrshow ---> To show main Decursive window /dcrhide ---> To hide main Decursive window
Line 33 of WhatsNew.txt
- New command line and key binding: /dcrhide will hide Decursive window leaving the live-list visible
Something to say?
Same problem as Starwolf...
I've just downloaded the version you released today so I haven't tested that yet, and am currently unable to test it for a little while, but the notes don't indicate you've made this change. You keep saying "no list is shown" when there's nothing to decurse. Fine, no "list" is shown, but the little frame with the word "Decursive" (and version #, I believe), which you can move around by left-click-and-hold or lock-in-place/unlock with right-click is still there at all times unless you hide it (whether you use a keybinding or in another way). To me, unless I am moving the Decursive frame's position around or actually decursing myself or party/raid members, it is clutter on my screen and would like the option to have it automatically disappear and reappear.
Allowing for someone to click on a name among the list will automatically cast the "Remove Curse" spell to the affected member.
FOR THE THIRD TIME: you can already click on that **** list.
If no more names are on the list, the mod will simply hide the frame. Instead of hunting around for an assigned toggle key during a raid or Battleground this can free up my attention for other matters... very efficient.
FOR THE THIRD TIME: when there is nothing to decurse there is no list shown.
If right clicking the list brings up an options dialog, or whatever, I would like to have a feature where I can "lock" the list in place preventing the accidental dragging... most especially in the heat of the moment.
if you right click on "Decursive", it hides the buttons and it LOCKS the list.
Allowing for the Decursive list to be translucent can be very aesthetic and prevent me from having the view blocked from wherever I have the list placed on the screen, especially if the list hides and shows depending on conditions.
This may be available in the next version (depending on your ability to read README.TXT files)
Awesome, so this should free up macros and such. Good job, thanks.

I am getting the decursive screen frame coming up when i first login, but in DCR options I am unable to tick my options..diease/magic.
/dcrshow will not bring up the screen frame once i close it down,
nor does /decursive trigger at any stage
error when i load initially is
/interface/addons/decursive/decursive.lua:275 attempt to index field 'Dcr_Output Window' ( a nil value )
when i click on options i immediatley receive /interface/addons/decursive/decursive.lua:571 attempt to call a nil value
I don't understand the need of this feature since you can already hide Decursive frame leaving the live-list displayed... (when the live-list is empty, you don't see it) So when there is no one to cure you have _nothing_ displayed.
If you want to quickly access Decursive frame or options, just use the new binding available or new macros.
Here is how I configured mine: [~] (the key just below the escape jey) ===> Decurse. [CTRL] + [~] ====> show decursive frame. [SHIFT] + [~] ====> Show Decursive option panel.
REMEMBER that hiding or showing the live list is now an option.
@sarnac:
Yep it's possible but it will be for the next version ;)
I have a feature request which I think is what Spiderkeg was trying to describe earlier.
Basically, we would like an option that makes it so that when there is no debuff listed by Decursive that the player can remove, the Decursive frame disappears. It could fade out or simply vanish all at once - whatever you like - but when a new debuff is placed on yourself/your party/your raid that you can remove, the frame reappears instantly. You could turn this "Automatic Hide" option on or off in the Decursive options page. The slash command /dcshow and keybindings that make the frame appear would still make the frame appear whether this option was on or not and could force the frame to stay visible for about 30 seconds, after which time it disappears again if "Automatically Hide Frame" is enabled.
This feature would be greatly helpful in reducing clutter and I for one would be extremely pleased! Thanks. -Tj
First of all thanks Archarodim for supporting this great mod!
I was wondering if it was possible to force Decursive to act on the current target only and ignore everyone else? If not, do you think that is something that could be added in the future?
For instance, I would create a macro like /decursive -s (where -s is the 'force single target' option, I don't know what's the standard for this) and then use that macro to cure a single target. The algorithm for detecting the debuff and choosing/casting the right cure would trigger, but nothing else (no further checking of other group members, no backlist, nothing). Hence, if the current target does not have a curable debuff, the "Nothing was cleaned" message would appear right away.
I agree there might not be tons of uses for this but I for one would use it (along with the normal decursive). When I'm decursing in raid I would usually use the normal decursive, but there would be times when I would like the single target version.
One example is this: Say I have this attack speed debuff on me that I don't care to cure, since I am a caster. I then see someone with a nasty disease that I want to cure. If I use the normal decursive on them and the disease turns out to be something I can't cure, then decursive would clean my own debuff but I don't want that, I want it to stop and say "Nothing was cleaned". So what I really want here is the single version.
In any case, thanks and keep up the good work!
@Spiderkeg:
I don't understand what you ask, resurection monitoring is not part of Decursive job, then you can already click on the names in the live-list...
@ozeantaucher:
Can you give me the date of your Decursive.lua? (proxies can get ine the way...)
I suggested an addition with the same feel of the CT Resurrection Monitor mod. The translucent frame will list what people are currently dead so the priests can be more effective. The frame be hidden to pop up only when someone is dead, can be opaque or translucent, moved around, and locked into place I believe. I would like to see something like this, and I'm happy this has been added to the list.
The Resurrection Monitor frame doesn't display any buttons, just names. Right clicking anywhere in the Monitor frame will bring up a list of options for locking, transparency, etc. This allows for a simplistic aesthetic method by which to monitor the party, raid, or random targeted individual.
However I have a further thing to add to this idea. When a name pops up on the list simply clicking on the name will automatically cast the necessary spell (in my Mage case, Remove Curse) and then the name will be removed from the list. Multiple names will merely be moved up the list. When no further names are on the list, if I have selected the option for the frame to be hidden if no names are given, then the frame just simply goes away out of my site. This would act as a good indicator for when someone has become cursed (or other buff) as the frame would pop up.
Wouldn't this remove the need for macros?
The error ist still there.
error line 285 (if the menu is closed and i want to decurse)
I fixed the first error, but I couldn't identified the second... Are you sure 569 is the correct line? What were you doing when the second error happend?

I've also updated the beta files on this site but it takes time to appear, once it's here you'll see "1.9.8 Beta 4-fixed".
Error: Interface\AddOns\Decursive\Decursive.lua:275: attempt to index field `Dcr_OutputWindow' (a nil value)
Error: Interface\AddOns\Decursive\Decursive.lua:569: attempt to call a nil value
Changes from Decursive 1.9.8 BETA 3 to 1.9.8 BETA 4
- Added cure priority based on debuff type (select the types in the order you want to de-curse). NOTE: For now this only works on a per unit basis, Decursive will de-curse a unit in the order you set debuff types. For example if you set (Poison, Curse), Decursive will first remove Poison on a unit then or if no poison, it will remove curses on that same unit...
- Added /dcrdebug command to enable/disable debug info. (thanks to @derey) - Added a new option: 'Tie live-list visibility to DCR window' (if the main DCR window is closed then the live-list is hidden...) - Added the global variable Dcr_Saved.Dcr_OutputWindow to change the default output window (use /script Dcr_Saved.Dcr_OutputWindow = ChatFrame2 for example). - Pre-updated .toc for 1.12
THIS IS PROBABLY THE LAST BETA BEFORE 1.9.8 FINAL. PLEASE TEST EACH NEW FEATURE THE BEST YOU CAN, THANKS.
