Decursive key benefits
Ease of use:
- Decursive supports all classes with cleansing abilities and configures itself automatically, it works straight out of the box, no configuration is required.
- Intuitive interface and detailed options, Decursive is suitable for simple usage and power users.
Control what and who you want to dispel:
- Easily Filter out afflictions you don't want to cure or that are useless to remove by class (some are pre-configured). (Such as afflictions affecting mana on non-mana classes, etc...).
- Choose between what you can dispel (magic, curses, poison, diseases, charms) choosing their priority. (this allows you to share the cleansing work with other players effectively)
- Prioritize or exclude members. (keep players, classes, or raid groups in a specific order to cleanse them in order of importance)
Manage Mind controlled units:
- If you are a Mage, a Druid or a Shaman you can Polymorph/Cyclone/Hex mind-controlled players.
- In any case Decursive will allow you to target mind controlled units easily.
- Decursive supports magic charming affect removal for Shamans (Purge and Hex), Priests (Dispel Magic), Hunters (Tranquilizing Shot), and Warlocks (Fellhunter and Doomguards spells).
Don't waste time:
- Your cleansing spell Cooldown is displayed to maximize your dispel speed.
- An automatic blacklist will prevent you from loosing time on players who can't be dispelled. (player 'out of line of sight' for example).
- Decursive choose a logical cleansing order depending on your current position in the raid. (preventing dispel concurrence between players and thus 'nothing to dispel' messages)
React faster:
- Visual and/or auditive alerts when someone needs your attention and can be dispelled.
- Special sound alert when Unstable Affliction is detected and you're about to dispel it.
- Visual and auditive alert when your dispel attempts are resisted or fail.
Integration in any interface:
- Decursive is designed to save screen real estate and to be forgotten when not needed.
- Many options allow you to customize Decursive appearance and interface behavior.
- All Decursive alert colors can be modified making it suitable for color-blind people.
Highly optimized and effective coding:
- Decursive was developed with memory and CPU usage in mind, installing Decursive won't affect your frame rate even in the worst battle conditions.
- Bug free: bugs are not tolerated in Decursive.
In brief, what you get with Decursive is effectiveness, a player using Decursive will always dispel faster than other players.

I don't seem to see an option in the interface
thanks in advance
I ask this because it is a pain to enable/disable the addon for each character individually.
Thanks much. Can't begin to describe how much decursing sucked with clicky clicky on the blizz UI.
It's fixed in the latest alpha, thanks for reporting this :-)
yeah, i forgot to add that, which is why i actually came back to edit my post. the druid class which is what i play used to have seperate curse and poison spells, which have now been retooled and condensed to one single spell which might be whats causing the issue. The spell is now called Remove Corruption. I noticed on 3.3.5 i have charm, poison and curse that im able to check, but on beta charm is the only one available.
thanks
@schmed11:
What is your class and what spells should Decursive use?
I got no feedback from people on the beta... Blizzard probably change some spell names. I need to add the spell IDs of those spells so Decursive can use them.
Quick question. I'm in the beta and i downloaded the alpha decursive. It doesnt throw back any errors at me, and all things appear functional upon first glance but during combat i noticed nothing ever appeared on my micro unit frames. Once i checked out the options i saw that under the tab to check and select which afflictions to watch for, every one of them was greyed out and un-selectable except for 'charm'. Anyone else having this issue with the beta version or is there something im not doing right?
thanks
@Nisdenar:
I'm not sure to understand your problem correctly but to open the option panels you can either alt-right click on the MUF handle or you can use the Blizzard Menu (the 'escape' menu)->Interface->Add-ons->Decursive.
Also note that the images available here are several years old, many things have changed since then (Drop-down option menus have disappeared).
I see your point concerning vertical orientation of the MUFs, I'll add it to my todo list.
Archarodim,
Sorry to be a problem; I can see under the "images" tab, the screen interface for the MUF options. I think that is where my problem lies. But I can't seem to figure out how to open that interface. I know that I am missing something simple.
I did think about the option of setting the number of units per line to 1, which would allow a verticle line. For small groups this does work, but for 25-40 man raids that gets to be a very long MUF. I can adjust that horizontal number displayed for different raids; but was hoping for something similar to what you have for the horizontal lines, setting a maximum number per line and automatically adding additional lines when that maximum is exceded. Or in the case of a vertical setting, would add additional vertical columns when the maximum is exceeded.
In any case, thanks for the great addon and for responding.
@Nisdenar:
thanks,
Look under the MUF options and look for "Show Tooltips on afflicted units"
It's already possible, just set the "Number of units per line" option to 1
This is a Great addon, I have been using it since WOW 1.0
I do have a quick question, when I downloaded the latest version, my profile got reset (probably something I did). Below the MUF there are "help tips" displayed which show the details of the debuff you are removing. I want to turn those off, but can't remember how. I have gone through the interfaces I can find, and turned off everything that seems to relate to the help, but nothing works.
I am obviously forgetting something, but don't know what. Any help would be appreciated.
I do have a suggestion for a later update. Would it be possible to add an options to orient the MUF in a vertical bar rather than a horizontal one?
i tried to add it myself but im pretty sure i did it wrong cuz now i get spammed with this message (which has a typo btw):
Decursive: Could not process event: init uncomplete!
