Decursive key benefits
Ease of use:
- Decursive supports all classes with cleansing abilities and configures itself automatically, it works straight out of the box, no configuration is required.
- Intuitive interface and detailed options, Decursive is suitable for simple usage and power users.
Control what and who you want to dispel:
- Easily Filter out afflictions you don't want to cure or that are useless to remove by class (some are pre-configured). (Such as afflictions affecting mana on non-mana classes, etc...).
- Choose between what you can dispel (magic, curses, poison, diseases, charms) choosing their priority. (this allows you to share the cleansing work with other players effectively)
- Prioritize or exclude members. (keep players, classes, or raid groups in a specific order to cleanse them in order of importance)
Manage Mind controlled units:
- If you are a Mage, a Druid or a Shaman you can Polymorph/Cyclone/Hex mind-controlled players.
- In any case Decursive will allow you to target mind controlled units easily.
- Decursive supports magic charming affect removal for Shamans (Purge and Hex), Priests (Dispel Magic), Hunters (Tranquilizing Shot), and Warlocks (Fellhunter and Doomguards spells).
Don't waste time:
- Your cleansing spell Cooldown is displayed to maximize your dispel speed.
- An automatic blacklist will prevent you from loosing time on players who can't be dispelled. (player 'out of line of sight' for example).
- Decursive choose a logical cleansing order depending on your current position in the raid. (preventing dispel concurrence between players and thus 'nothing to dispel' messages)
React faster:
- Visual and/or auditive alerts when someone needs your attention and can be dispelled.
- Special sound alert when Unstable Affliction is detected and you're about to dispel it.
- Visual and auditive alert when your dispel attempts are resisted or fail.
Integration in any interface:
- Decursive is designed to save screen real estate and to be forgotten when not needed.
- Many options allow you to customize Decursive appearance and interface behavior.
- All Decursive alert colors can be modified making it suitable for color-blind people.
Highly optimized and effective coding:
- Decursive was developed with memory and CPU usage in mind, installing Decursive won't affect your frame rate even in the worst battle conditions.
- Bug free: bugs are not tolerated in Decursive.
In brief, what you get with Decursive is effectiveness, a player using Decursive will always dispel faster than other players.

Decursive is dedicated to the memory of Bertrand Sense known as Glorfindal on the European server Les Sentinelles. He was the raid leader of my guild (Horizon)

Just ran a portion of Well of Eternity. I am dual spec resto/bal druid and noticed when a player is afflicted by Peroth'arn's Fel Decay although I was able to debuff it using my F keys to target the party member and the Remove Corruption key, there is no pop up on my decursive. Is this because the encounter is so new? (also, if this has already been addressed if you could point me to the page it's on...118 pages is a lot to scan thru..lol)
Hello,
I am having an interesting issue with decursive. Since the new patch I have not been able to cure/dispell myself of anything. Is this a known issue? Everything else seems to be working fine for me though. I am able to dispell and cure other people in my party and/or raid however when it comes to myself I am not able to dispell/cure anything. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you in advance
What's your character class and what spell were you using to dispel what?
I know this was addressed in the past, but I just wanted to maybe make a small suggestion.
Decursive loves telling people when they have errors in addons and such, and while disabling BugGrabber stops this message from showing up every 30 seconds, how about naking it to where this message only pops up once regardless of anything.
Yes, there may be errors with my addons, LUA files things, and whatever else....but I am running a minimalist compilation UI (RealUI 7), so errors are going to show up because it isn't "Blizzard default". But at the same time, I have ZERO issues running my game smoothly, so I just don't see a need for this message at all.
If I want an addon to let me know what and how many errors I have going, I'll get them. Decursive doesn't need to stick it's nose into that arena. It needs to do what it's name says...decurse players. And no, I don't count Decursive telling me I have LUA errors as "decursing". :P
Again....just a suggestion based on numerous complaints I hear from players.
It's already the case, if it's not, you're probably using an old version of BugGrabber. So just update it or remove it (there is an up to date one included in Decursive)
This assertion is completely wrong: the fact that you're not using Blizzard's default UI certainly doesn't mean that you can't have an error free UI.
People are so used to bugs that they think they are normal... THEY'RE NOT! You shouldn't accept them. Bugs are, in 99% of the cases, the product of bad programming practice.
In your situation though, it's probably because you're using out of date add-ons which are no longer compatible with WoW; hence the tens of error per secconds you get.
Decursive includes BugGrabber to grab errors happenning in its code base so they get reported and thus, fixed.
BugGrabber consumes resources to parse error messages. So when someone is having tens of error per seconds (such as you) BugGrabber disables itself to save resources (that's when the message is displayed).
Moreover, Blizzard's default UI does the same, except their error parsing mechanism is not as performant as BugGrabber's and doesn't have the courtesy of disabling itself (People often report they have better performances when Decursive is installed...)
For those having the weird issue with "ptBR.lua not loaded", answer to this ticket please: http://www.wowace.com/addons/decursive/tickets/109-decursive-file-pt-br-lua-could-not-load/#comments
I need your "World of Warcraft\Logs\FrameXML.log"
@ansolden:
Weird indeed, was WoW still running during your first re-installation attempts?
@Archarodim
I removed the whole addon several times, installing it again both manually and via client and still got an error. Had to go back to previous version.
Edit: sorry, was meant to be a response to your comment below on the issue. Weird, I just reinstalled it once more (via client) to check and post the full error message and now it works fine.
Last version not loading. Got an error when trying to load ptBR.lua
Without wanting to impose unduly on your time, would you be so kind as to give me the error message you received which would give me a chance to know what went wrong?
I'm having the same issue - all it states when I log in is "1 error(s) found while trying to load Decursive - The Decursive file PtBR.lua could not be loaded" and then it recommends attempting to reinstall it. I installed it directly from curse so I'm not sure what the problem could be.
In "World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\Decursive\Localization\" you must have a file named "ptBR.lua".
If you don't then delete completely the Decursive folder and reinstall it.
Is there any way to hide decursive out of combat?
Hello, I keep my decursive updated but I have noticed lately that I do not get a sound when UA is on the target I am about to dispel. I can't seem to find where to turn this on/off.
Thank you
Are you still clicking on the MUFs to dispel? Do you see the 'Unstable Affliction'in the MUF's tooltip?
Yes I can see the spell on the MUF and if I dispel it I get the silence.
I've sent you a PM
Hello, I'm trying to find out how to turn off the notification text that appears on the center of the screen, near the top. It's the text that appears any time someone in my group get a debuff I can remove. I can find the anchor for it but I'm not seeing an option to turn it off.
Thank you for your time.
There is no such text in Decursive. It's probably another add-on.
Could you post a screen shot of the said message?
