Decursive key benefits
Ease of use:
- Decursive supports all classes with cleansing abilities and configures itself automatically, it works straight out of the box, no configuration is required.
- Intuitive interface and detailed options, Decursive is suitable for simple usage and power users.
Control what and who you want to dispel:
- Easily Filter out afflictions you don't want to cure or that are useless to remove by class (some are pre-configured). (Such as afflictions affecting mana on non-mana classes, etc...).
- Choose between what you can dispel (magic, curses, poison, diseases, charms) choosing their priority. (this allows you to share the cleansing work with other players effectively)
- Prioritize or exclude members. (keep players, classes, or raid groups in a specific order to cleanse them in order of importance)
Manage Mind controlled units:
- If you are a Mage, a Druid or a Shaman you can Polymorph/Cyclone/Hex mind-controlled players.
- In any case Decursive will allow you to target mind controlled units easily.
- Decursive supports magic charming affect removal for Shamans (Purge and Hex), Priests (Dispel Magic), Hunters (Tranquilizing Shot), and Warlocks (Fellhunter and Doomguards spells).
Don't waste time:
- Your cleansing spell Cooldown is displayed to maximize your dispel speed.
- An automatic blacklist will prevent you from loosing time on players who can't be dispelled. (player 'out of line of sight' for example).
- Decursive choose a logical cleansing order depending on your current position in the raid. (preventing dispel concurrence between players and thus 'nothing to dispel' messages)
React faster:
- Visual and/or auditive alerts when someone needs your attention and can be dispelled.
- Special sound alert when Unstable Affliction is detected and you're about to dispel it.
- Visual and auditive alert when your dispel attempts are resisted or fail.
Integration in any interface:
- Decursive is designed to save screen real estate and to be forgotten when not needed.
- Many options allow you to customize Decursive appearance and interface behavior.
- All Decursive alert colors can be modified making it suitable for color-blind people.
Highly optimized and effective coding:
- Decursive was developed with memory and CPU usage in mind, installing Decursive won't affect your frame rate even in the worst battle conditions.
- Bug free: bugs are not tolerated in Decursive.
In brief, what you get with Decursive is effectiveness, a player using Decursive will always dispel faster than other players.

you can change the lifetime modifying the variable DCR_TEXT_LIFETIME in Decursive.lua at line 56. It's set to 4 seconds by default. Note that the lifetime was not working as intended in previous version since patch 1.11.
You can also move the messages where you want on the screen, click the 'A' in the top right corner of the option panel of Decursive
Any chance to introduce an option to limit the amount of lines of messages displayed at the center of the screen? Or alternatively allow to change the lifetime/fadetime of the individual messages?
Checking out 1.9.8b1 now.
Changes from Decursive 1.9.7 to 1.9.8 BETA 1
- You can choose in the options the type of debuff you want to cure (Magic, Poison, Curse, Disease) - Included a new cache system for scanning functions (lex idea) ; this should improve performances. - Fix the delay problem with text message (it was related to a change in 1.11) - Enhanced message display with colors (you can also click character names in default chat window). - If Decursive fails because the target is invalid, the target is blacklisted. - Other minor fixes.
THOSE WHO CURRENTLY HAVE LAG ISSUES WITH 1.9.7, TRY WITH THIS BETA AND TELL ME THE RESULT. THANKS.

@dogsalad:
I'll see what I can do for the next beta
I understand you can't scan people that aren't in your group/raid. I don't use the decursive keybinds, I click in the display window. I wanted the ability to have a friendly target show up if they needed cleaning.
@dogsalad:
There is no way to scan targets that are not in your group or raid, however if you select a friendly target Decursive will clean it
I was wondering if you could add in the ability to have a friendly target (non group/raid member) show up on Decursive. I would love to finally be able to remove "Cure Poison" and "Cure Disease" from my hot bar.
@Aerbax:
I'm not sure at all I'll add item usage in Decursive... too annoying (Decursive would need to know every object name able to decurse things....)
@JMHammer:
Are your sure your using Decursive 1.9.7?
@EnableMagic:
Decursive (1.9.7) should work with the Fellhunter, at least it does with my Warlock.
@Spiderkeg:
Yes it is possible *adding it to the todo list*
@sylana:
I'll add it for patch 1.12 :/
@hitodama:
Type /dcrreset (in the readme file)
Any way to make this mod decurse when feared, sheeped, etc depending on your pvp trinket/racial?
I think it would be a nice addition to this mod.
Last night in UBRS I had my Priest character working with a group which included a second Priest. I was doing all the healing; the other Priest made extensive use of Mind Control for crowd control purposes as it was the group's ONLY crowd control.
Whenever an enemy unit was under Mind Control, Decursive would stall: I'd hit my Decursive hotkey and it would attempt to remove the Mind Control and not any other debuff; and no spell would cast (invalid target) so I'd have to manually target and cast Dispel Magic/Cure Disease on the afflcted party member.
Is there a workaround for this? I don't want to add Mind Control to the list of debuffs not decursed because when Mind Control is used against a friendly unit in PvP I want to be able to remove it.
Thank you for you kind attention and continued work on this useful mod.
nvm, it's coming from CTRA.
Got a small problem. Everything works fine 'cept at one character I cant activate the decursive window (you know - the one where you can see if anyone in the raid is decurseable) by typing "/dcrshow". I deleted every file with decursive in it and reinstalled the addon. Nothing changed. I assume that I moved the window out of the screen and simply cant see it anymore. Is there a file where the location of the window is saved? Thanks for help
I've made the modifications myself. You can get my version here : http://www.c-lafrance.com/wow/Decursive-Revisited.zip
In this version you can enable/disable each decurse (poison, disease, curse, magic).
Is there a way to configure decursive for the Felhunter?
Thx.
+1
I need that : So basically i'd like to be able to select what kind of debuff i will be directing with decursive. O Magic O Disease
Thanks :')
CT Mod comes with a simple Resurrect window. Could something as simple as this be applied to Decursive in which the window is hidden, upon someone in the group being cursed, the windows shows. Clicking on the person in the window will target them and cast Decurse automatically. Since nobody is now cursed, the window then hides again. I could lock this in a set location and only worry about being being cursed when the windows pops.
What Sylana said precisely. There are simply some times when I want only to be removing magic and letting the shamans handle the disease (handy-dandy totems ftw) and I'm sure there are similar times for shamans, druids, and probably pallies as well.
Perhaps shutting off one type of decursing (as Syl suggested) or even prioritizing it the same way you can for groups and classes.
Greetings; hopefully I haven't overlooked a feature that allready should enable me to do what i want, but i really searched for it and was unable to find it.
The thing i would like to see in decursive is a set of checkboxes to select what you wish to remove. I'll give an example: Chromaggus has a few debuffs; magic, disease, curse, poison etc. Now on Horde side us priesties have to dispell the magic debuff, but! the shamans should be taking care of the disease debuff. But if you're happily spamming on your decursive button you start giving random people abolish disease while you just wanted to remove a few more magic debuffs.
So basically i'd like to be able to select what kind of debuff i will be directing with decursive. O Magic O Disease
Thanks in advance,
Sylana
I think the auto attack bug from the first series of decursive has resurfaced in the newest version.
Pretty much auto attack will shut off randomly. I still have more testing to do but I have a good feeling decursive is causing this.
@Meldas:
It happens when the warlock IMP get debuffed and then go out of phase... when a warlock pet dies and is summoned again it keeps its debuffs... The only way to get rid of it is to disable pet scanning in the options or to ask to the warlock to put his imp in phase.
I haven't added a check for that because it would require to look for out of phase buff... (performance downgrade)
@sarf:
Thanks for the macros :) However, There is already something to populate the priority and ignore list by group and by class. (When the priority/ignore list is displayed there is a button you can push at the top to have access to this feature: the one right near the "+"
@Vekman:
Well Decursive is not supposed to make your work^^ However in version 2.0, lists will be far more easy to organize.
Sometimes warlock pets get stuck in the decurse list but the pet itself is already gone (dead or replaced by another one). The curse on this pet is still visible in the list. Is there a way to remove the pet from the decurse list?
Maybe you can add an option that Strg-clicking the decurse list item will set it on ignore.
