Decursive key benefits
Ease of use:
- Decursive supports all classes with cleansing abilities and configures itself automatically, it works straight out of the box, no configuration is required.
- Intuitive interface and detailed options, Decursive is suitable for simple usage and power users.
Control what and who you want to dispel:
- Easily Filter out afflictions you don't want to cure or that are useless to remove by class (some are pre-configured). (Such as afflictions affecting mana on non-mana classes, etc...).
- Choose between what you can dispel (magic, curses, poison, diseases, charms) choosing their priority. (this allows you to share the cleansing work with other players effectively)
- Prioritize or exclude members. (keep players, classes, or raid groups in a specific order to cleanse them in order of importance)
Manage Mind controlled units:
- If you are a Mage, a Druid or a Shaman you can Polymorph/Cyclone/Hex mind-controlled players.
- In any case Decursive will allow you to target mind controlled units easily.
- Decursive supports magic charming affect removal for Shamans (Purge and Hex), Priests (Dispel Magic), Hunters (Tranquilizing Shot), and Warlocks (Fellhunter and Doomguards spells).
Don't waste time:
- Your cleansing spell Cooldown is displayed to maximize your dispel speed.
- An automatic blacklist will prevent you from loosing time on players who can't be dispelled. (player 'out of line of sight' for example).
- Decursive choose a logical cleansing order depending on your current position in the raid. (preventing dispel concurrence between players and thus 'nothing to dispel' messages)
React faster:
- Visual and/or auditive alerts when someone needs your attention and can be dispelled.
- Special sound alert when Unstable Affliction is detected and you're about to dispel it.
- Visual and auditive alert when your dispel attempts are resisted or fail.
Integration in any interface:
- Decursive is designed to save screen real estate and to be forgotten when not needed.
- Many options allow you to customize Decursive appearance and interface behavior.
- All Decursive alert colors can be modified making it suitable for color-blind people.
Highly optimized and effective coding:
- Decursive was developed with memory and CPU usage in mind, installing Decursive won't affect your frame rate even in the worst battle conditions.
- Bug free: bugs are not tolerated in Decursive.
In brief, what you get with Decursive is effectiveness, a player using Decursive will always dispel faster than other players.

Decursive is dedicated to the memory of Bertrand Sense known as Glorfindal on the European server Les Sentinelles. He was the raid leader of my guild (Horizon)

Please can someone tell me if MC dispell is working again?
Thanks a bunch for adding my suggested feature Archa! It works like a charm
@Pherus:
Ok, I thought it was like "Abolir maladie"... Did b1 cast "Abolir le poison" correctly?

@infomatz:
It's the LUA error I corrected, maybe your client is not showing LUA errors...
"French Druids can cast Abolish Poison again with Decursive (the localization changed :/)"
Strange, Abolish Poison for my french client is really "Abolir le poison" and not "Abolir poison" like in Decursive 1.9.8b2.
Hi there,
yesterday, I installed the 1.9.8 Beta 1 and went to MC. And I had exactly the same problem as Cookiekitty: DC worked fine until Lucifron, then it stopped working at all. No more key binding, no more dispelling, nothing. I, too, went back to 1.9.7 for the time being, and it did its job just fine. Playing on a German server, but with the english client.
I'll try the Beta 2 now, maybe this will do the trick.
"- When you have a target selected, whether it's in your raid or not it will appear in Decursive live-list if you can cure it."
Thank you for adding in my request!
Where would you like me to send my first born?

@Archarodim
Yes, I tried clicking on the livelist, no go there either. I had no priority list, and even tried adding people to it. Still didn't want to work. The time it stopped working was at Lucifron, ie Mind Controls and the dispellable direct damage he puts on people. After we left Lucifron I couldn't even remove Soul Burn caused by Firelords anymore, even though I'd had no problem before Luci. I had to use LoadIT and go back to 1.9.7 by reloading my entire UI so that I could continue the raid I was in when this happened.
@Cookiekitty:
Very strange... Were you able to decurse clicking in the livelist?
@Farook and Teodred: I'll try to implement that but the option window is rather short, I'll have to find a way to add a scrollbar :/
@bitbybit:
It's possible but I will only unable that as a command line option since there is nowhere to click to reshow the frame...
NOTE: in the current beta there is a bug that prevent dispell of Mind Controlled players units... I will release a beta tonight with the above improvements.
The one thing that Teodred just mentioned, this would be something I'd like to see as well. I like placing things at the bottom of my UI as well, so if the list would move upwards as well (optional?), I really would appreciate that.
Cheers, Farook
I have decursive bound to a key that I spam to dispel. Well I was spamming away happily and suddenly it stopped working. No error message at all. I tried rebinding the key to something different, no change, it just doesn't want to use the bound key anymore.
Hello!
Great addon so far.
Could you implement an option to grow the list of victims upward? i want to put the header bar most bottom on the screen and want the guys i should decurse ABOVE the bar.
Regards, Teodred@Rat von Dalaran
Thanks for the tip on the fadetime, enough for me.
Found a really minor bug so far: The Sea/Earth/Cosmos icon tooltip for decursive claims to open the afflicted-people window but in reality opens/closes the priority window.
Would it be possible to add an option to fully toggle the "Decursive" title/nameplate off, but still have decursive messages display in the GUI normally? Basically very similar to how right clicking the nameplate toggles the options right now - just a checkbox to fully hide it when right-clicked or something along those lines.
It's a small cosmetic change and wouldn't need to be enabled by default, but it'd help clear up my GUI a bit when there's nothing I need to decurse.
Love the mod and thank you for taking it over and continuing to update it :)
you can change the lifetime modifying the variable DCR_TEXT_LIFETIME in Decursive.lua at line 56. It's set to 4 seconds by default. Note that the lifetime was not working as intended in previous version since patch 1.11.
You can also move the messages where you want on the screen, click the 'A' in the top right corner of the option panel of Decursive
Any chance to introduce an option to limit the amount of lines of messages displayed at the center of the screen? Or alternatively allow to change the lifetime/fadetime of the individual messages?
Checking out 1.9.8b1 now.
Changes from Decursive 1.9.7 to 1.9.8 BETA 1
- You can choose in the options the type of debuff you want to cure (Magic, Poison, Curse, Disease) - Included a new cache system for scanning functions (lex idea) ; this should improve performances. - Fix the delay problem with text message (it was related to a change in 1.11) - Enhanced message display with colors (you can also click character names in default chat window). - If Decursive fails because the target is invalid, the target is blacklisted. - Other minor fixes.

@dogsalad:
I'll see what I can do for the next beta
I understand you can't scan people that aren't in your group/raid. I don't use the decursive keybinds, I click in the display window. I wanted the ability to have a friendly target show up if they needed cleaning.
@dogsalad:
There is no way to scan targets that are not in your group or raid, however if you select a friendly target Decursive will clean it
I was wondering if you could add in the ability to have a friendly target (non group/raid member) show up on Decursive. I would love to finally be able to remove "Cure Poison" and "Cure Disease" from my hot bar.
