- Menu Icon: Opens the configuration dialog
- Lock Icon: Toggles frame anchors

Also, if you ever hide the pane and can't get it to show, type /dxe to open the configuration dialog. There is also a minimap icon.

because the dxe crew has decided to end the development
Considering these "updates" weren't done by the DXE crew but by others I doubt it.
Are the updated versions going to be uploaded to Curse? Last upload was in Oct.
Thanks for the feedback! We did alot of the early progression in 10s, because of the holidays... so I wouldn't be surprised if a few things didn't work on 25s and it slipped by me =/
But ya, the whole SN[spellid] part doesn't matter if its 10s or 25s hard mode or normals that just pulls the correct name for the ability, so anytime its showing up that way its probably 10s because that is what I started with and I tried to add the additional (missing) spellids as I went.
Thanks soo much for catching that about council! I dont' get many wipes to play w/ the mod and I had just started working w/ DXE when we got to that fight... so the only thing it actually tracked while I was working progression was the cooldown on glaciate.. since I was tanking him, lol. Everything else was me trying to build it up from a log file (which I deleted by accident so if someone wants to give me their transcriptor results I'd be quite happy) and 2 pulls on the boss since the initial kill o0.
'spellname' in events is reference to localised spell name, not to spell id. So, if i'm not wrong, you can use any valid spell id as value for "spellname", it will be converted to localised spell name and compared during encounter with spell name. Even if they has different id, but converts to the same name, event will trigger.
Shuang, in the code for Ascendant Council you are using the aegis spellid for the hardened skin. Hardened skin spell id is 92541 (25 man) and 83718 (10 man).
Also it seems that all the IDs i see are from 10 man so not sure if it matters for putting in the 25 man spell id.
Also in the descent file you are only using 1 of the resonating class IDs, i think you need to use both of them as one is the spell ID when used on the ground and another is the spell ID when used in the air. 78168 and 77611. Not 100% sure on this because in my code I was only using the air phase 1 and didn't really get to test it last night all that much.
There is a bug in "DXE-Encounters-KL.rar".
Descent > Encounters.lua @ line 563.
should be
Tealta has a point, the actual encounter files would probably be useful. I'm not 100% what is and isn't working for mine atm since I've been building them over time and, frankly we're killing a few of these bosses too fast for me to test them really well anymore...
I'm attaching the encounter modules with what I have (part of which is merged with what was official released for dragons / cho'gall). If anyone wants to report errors / inaccuracies so I can tweak it that would be nice :)
Also for those not feint of heart, I've attempted to update the Coords.lua file to have map sizes for the new zones, enjoy :)
I've also included some comments from Tealta into the modifying DXE writeup, so I'm re-attaching it here.
...
Thanks for finding that! Posting an update now.
Here is updated DXE_Descent\Encounters.lua, it contains encounters for Omnitron (not tested, has some warnings and cooldowns) and Atramedes (tested, timers more or less accurate, warnings are working).
To use:
Will update other encounters soon.
This is a really great mod. But we have to use DBM, we're doing HMs. And DXE is just not keeping up with our pace. I hope it picks up again soon.
is there a way to extract the DBM timers into DXE? seems that the dxe development has ended now
I been running transcriptor on some of the fights and atm i been sending PM to Shefki with a link, but is there a better way to get in to you guys?
Yeah transcriptor is giving me a hardtime currently as well. I have been trying to work on the encounters on my own but am having trouble with some of the CDs but hopefully i can get transcriptor to work out and send something to shefki if he still needs/wants it.
Unfortunately im having problems running transcriptor atm so ill just have to sit down and wait and hope.
Keep up the great work.
Could we please get some Blackwing Descent timers?
Thanks for all the hard work you do Shefki and others.
I love DXE. It is a required addon for raiding in my guild. I can't wait for the Cata encounters to be included.
I have experience in Perl, PHP, Javascript, VB, and a little Python. LUA doesn't look too difficult. If you need some help, just let me know.
I ran Transcriptor last night on Magmaw (BWD), Veliona/Theralion (BoT), and Halfus (BoT). If you would like a copy just toss me an email at jayson.sumpter #AT# gmail #DOT# com.
After 6 years of WoW you should know how online fora work ;o)
People just whine about stuff because they like it. Maybe a little counter-intuative but it's true.
Your addon is loved by many and gets so many posts because people have grown dependant on it.
You can also use this to your advantage. There's plenty of people around who want to help out in a way that can help take off the load a bit.
As the post below me asks: What can us normal folk do to help in the way of gathering data for you? And if we did, where would we send it?
Your addon has been handsdown the best bossmod throughout ICC and I hope you continue it for as long as possible.
The majority of DXE users are lurkers like myself mostly who just wait till it's updated, but you never hear of.
Your work is appreciated and remember that online fora are not always a good place to get some sympathy.
Thanks for all the work.
I'd like to know how can I help you all gather data.
keep it up :D
