Deus Vox Encounters (DXE) is a boss mod inspired by RDX. It is designed to be functional, efficient, and customizable, so you can change what you want and how you see this addon.

- 3D Arrow: Directional arrows tells you where to go on important events
- Two types:
- Away: Directs you to run from a player or a location
- Toward: Directs you to run to a player or a location
- Ability to play a sound when shown
- Displays your distance, to a player or location, in game yards
- Two types:
- Encounter Pane
- Boss health tracking gives you more awareness of fights
- Engage timer tells you how long you've been fighting
- Shortcut buttons provides easier access to common commands
- Conditions to show the pane only when you want to
- Version Check: View addon and encounter versions of raid members
- Distribution System: Allows you to send encounters to the raid or individual players
- Profile System: Switch settings between your characters
- Modular Design: Encounters are loaded in appropriate zones
- SharedMedia support
Getting Started
When you first login with this AddOn you will see a black transparent rectangle with a blue bar labeled 'Default', called the encounter pane, in the center of your screen. Shift+Click on it to move it. From left to right you will see:
- Stop Icon: Halts the current encounter (you should rarely have to do this)
- Menu Icon: Opens the configuration dialog
- Lock Icon: Toggles frame anchors
- Windows Icon: Opens a drop down menu to show interface windows
Also, if you ever hide the pane and can't get it to show, type /dxe to open the configuration dialog. There is also a minimap icon.
Warlords of Draenor Update
- Encounters: Highmaul, BlackRock Foundry and Hellfire Citadel have been implemented.
- Party Module: Party support has been added.
- World Boss Module: World Bosses support has been added.
- Features: More new Alert Options and Spell descriptions on Options.

Localizations
Please visit the localization page to translate in-game phrases. It is open to anyone with an account. The most important phrases are the chat triggers for bosses, because they start encounters. However, not all encounters are started by chat triggers. The rest of the phrases are for display purposes. The following languages need a maintainer:

- Spanish (esES)
- Traditional Chinese (zhTW)

Posted Dec 14, 2010If anyone have started on a skeleton on the Blackwing descent and/or twilight bastion I´d appreciate it. It's kind of a hard place to start learning how to add encounters. Gonna try and add some alerts and timers for some of the bosses atleast.

Posted Dec 11, 2010Screw these twits , I for on love this addon and all the time you put into it. I have had my entire guild switch over and i tel everyone i know to use it. I have dl'd he transcriptor and will be sending you the 5 mans and 5 mans heroics and as soon as we start the 10mans and 25 ill send them as well. DXE is hands, shoulders , tits and a pair on balls better then DBM.

Posted Dec 10, 2010Here I'll tell you what. I'll write the encounters, keep them to myself and my guild and then I don't have people demanding me to do anything or people who think they can manage my time better than me.
P.S. I didn't have time two weeks ago to write a guide for you since I was working 12 hour days for things outside of my control at work.
For someone who claims to be interested in helping. You haven't even done my suggestion.

Posted Dec 10, 2010I posted asking about how to add stuff to DXE because I was going to sit down and add encounters as I got to them. Instead you brushed me off and told me to upload chat text for encounters. I'm sure this comment is going to make you more frustrated, but you're overwhelmed because you don't have a guide explaining how to add encounters and you brush off people who offer to help.
If you'd sat down 2 weeks ago when I asked and written out a bit about how to add an encounter, then I would have been doing something about the encounters right now. You'd be less frustrated with what people are asking for and less stressed because you'd done it before Cata came out.
Thank you for all of the addons that you write and continue to support. Remember that people emailing you is a sign that everyone loves your addons, even if they don't say it.
